"Additionally, there is the Tirisfal Council," Medivh continued. "The old council, unfortunately, has been completely wiped out.
We need to establish a new council. Of course, I now realize that the power of just one Guardian is not enough to protect Azeroth. We need more people working together."
"What do you mean?" Alaric and Aegwynn both looked at her.
"Lady Mother, and Father... Grandmaster Sandor, I hope you can become a member of the new council and help me protect this world. I need your strength."
"Alright, for you..." Aegwynn agreed readily.
"Unavoidable responsibility," Alaric nodded and then looked toward the three Guardian Dragons. "Perhaps we should expand the power of the council."
"Do you have any suggestions?" Medivh asked, her eyes brightening.
"Dragons have always been Azeroth's protectors, but for now, let's put that aside.
I believe the new council should not be limited to the power of mages alone—we should be gathering the power of mortals to fight demons, that should be our goal."
"But... those national forces..." Medivh hesitated.
"I'm not referring to the involvement of the various kingdom powers," Alaric said. "Actually, as far as I know, there are still many powerful beings in this world.
For example, the Night Elves in Kalimdor, their High Druid and High Priest... and the Demon Hunters they've kept imprisoned for ten thousand years.
These are unique and mighty beings among mortals. I believe, in this chaotic time, many more powerful heroes will emerge."
However, he did not notice that when he mentioned the High Druid, High Priest, and Demon Hunter, the three Guardian Dragons exchanged glances filled with complexity and mockery.
Alaric continued, "In addition, we should strengthen our connection with the Wyrmrest Temple.
The six-colored dragons are stationed on the front lines, fighting demons and protecting Azeroth.
They are the most familiar with demonic intelligence. Perhaps, when faced with troublesome demons, the six-colored dragon legion could contact us."
He then turned to the three Guardian Dragons.
"It's our duty," Talonixa responded on behalf of her sisters.
In fact, the Tirisfal Council had considered sharing intelligence with the Dragon Legion in the past.
However, how could the mighty dragons take a liking to a mortal organization?
It was only because of Aegwynn's unique connection with the dragons as a Guardian that such a relationship existed.
Now, however, the situation was different, with Alaric raising the issue.
How close was Alaric's relationship with the three Guardian Dragons?
As of now, the six-colored dragon legion had the black dragons who betrayed the Guardian Dragons along with Deathwing Neltharion.
The blue dragons were responsible for controlling the arcane network and magical artifacts, but due to Deathwing's conspiracy during the War of the Ancients, the blue dragons had nearly gone extinct.
And these responsibilities were now taken over by the largest group, the red dragon legion; the bronze dragons were responsible for maintaining the stability of time and hardly involved in worldly matters.
So, when it came to protecting Azeroth and fighting demons, wasn't it the gold, red, and green Guardian Dragons who made the final decisions?
"Additionally, I believe there is another enemy we should be wary of: the three Old Gods hidden within Azeroth," Alaric continued.
"When defending Stormwind, I encountered a powerful two-headed ogre warlock, whose shadow magic was extremely potent.
I sensed the power of the Old Gods from him... With the Orc invasion, these ancient and evil beings may have some new plot."
"The Qiraji just got sealed a thousand years ago, and now they want to stir up trouble," Talonixa said, deeply believing in Alaric's words, angrily remarking.
"As expected, these guys, whenever they get the chance, they're up to no good. The key is, we have no way of dealing with them and can only passively defend."
"Yes," Alaric agreed, nodding. "So, you need the power of mortals, don't you? Mortal intelligence can uncover the details you overlook, and mortal strength can help you fight against the minions of the Old Gods."
"I understand now," the three Guardian Dragons agreed. "We've indeed noticed the rise of mortal races' power, and it's time for you to take on some responsibility as well."
At this point, the three Guardian Dragons looked at Alaric with soft expressions. In their eyes, his suggestions were aimed at lightening their burden.
The three dragons were deeply touched. Among them, Ysera was already eager to meet Alaric in the Emerald Dream.
Finally, the new organization was named the Azeroth Planet Sustainability Protection Council, and, like its predecessor, it was also known as the Karazhan Council, due to its establishment at Karazhan.
Currently, the only members are Maverick Sandor (Alaric), Aegwynn, and Medivh.
Since Kadgar had become Medivh's apprentice, he was considered a backup member and allowed to study the knowledge and magic collected by the council (originally belonging to Medivh).
Talonixa, Alexstrasza, and Ysera, due to their status, could not directly become council members, but the three Guardian Dragons were close allies of the council and promised to recommend powerful Night Elves from Kalimdor to join.
Loas, a warrior with no extraordinary powers and focused on the political affairs of mortal races, did not join the council.
However, the reliable warrior kept his observations to himself, deciding not to disclose them to others.
After seeing Aegwynn and the Guardian Dragons, and fully understanding their past deeds, Kadgar naturally shifted his allegiance from Dalaran to the Karazhan Council.
Becoming a backup member thrilled him.
It seemed that Dalaran, hoping to gain some advantage from Medivh, had lost a talented magical apprentice this time.
Once everything was settled, Alaric, Garona, Kadgar, and Loas returned to Stormwind.
They needed to report to King Varian and Dalaran about everything that had transpired in Karazhan, as well as help defend Stormwind.
Alaric left the Resurrection Stone with Aegwynn, who, along with Medivh's spirit, would oversee the transfer of everything from Karazhan, which was temporarily placed at Aegwynn's mage tower.
The Guardian Dragons, of course, left as well. Their affairs were extremely busy, as mentioned earlier, most of the dragon legion's tasks rested on their three shoulders.
However, their departure took longer than others expected—at least a whole night. During that time, the three Guardian Dragons ventured into the Emerald Dream near Stormwind.
As for what they did there, no one knew.
