In an instant, the Heart of the Ocean became the center of attention.

The sea folk, almost involuntarily, took a step forward, drawn to the Heart of the Ocean, yearning to be nearer to it.

Even Godwin, a grandmaster-tier, extended his hand towards it, emotions flickering in his eyes.

However, he quickly suppressed his feelings and awkwardly withdrew his hand.

He hadn't stooped to the level of outright snatching it, not with Barlo standing beside Owen.

"Friend," Godwin's address to Owen changed upon seeing the object, "if you could return the Heart of the Ocean to our race, we would hold you in the highest esteem. Any request you have, just name it."

"Even if it means climbing a mountain of swords or descending into a sea of flames, I would not hesitate nor make any excuses."

Owen had underestimated the significance of the Heart of the Ocean to the sea race.
