Anarchism is very Cool

"You..." Nicholas turned to stare at the Saber sitting on the wooden deck in the seiza position with tears in her eyes, "Again?"

Artoria vehemently shook her head from side to side and whimpered, "No, no, please... don't take away my food and games again. I didn't know it was Master, I'm telling the truth... please. I don't want to be cold and alone again."

There was probably something deeper in that last sentence than just the punishment he had given her last time but did he care?

Nope.

You see, Nicholas himself was the one who'd fumbled this time and actually helped out the person responsible for the singularity. As such, the responsibility was his and only his to bear and he wasn't one to run away from his problems.

Placing a reassuring hand on Artoria's shoulder, Nicholas smiled faintly at the servant who mistook it as annoyance and shrunk further, lowering her head.

"He's managed to traumatise a tyrant... I don't know if I should be proud or worried." Carmilla commented offhandedly, resting her hand in her chin... almost as if Elizabeth wasn't encased in a small orb of blood behind her and banging against the walls of the impromptu barrier, "But... good job, I suppose?"

Nicholas ignored the vampire entirely, instead he held a hand up and spoke in a calm tone, "Alright, that's about enough y'all. Chill."

Of course he was ignored by everyone, completely.

Hell they didn't even deign to look his way.

"Aight, if that's how you wanna be." Nicholas clenched his fist, the command seals on the back of his palm glowing faintly, "Pikach- er... Altera, I choose you!"

One of the red marks burnt away and at the same time, the Scourge of God appeared right in front of him with a massive piece of meat in her hand. Her crimson eyes coldly surveyed her new surroundings until she spotted her Master.

The 'Scourge of God' then looked down at the food in her hand and back at her Master before holding it out to him, "Master... is hungry?"

"Damn, the disrespect." Nicholas chortled.

She didn't even consider the pirate battle to be an actual fight.

"I was not supposed to ask?" Altera asked plainly, shoulders dropping ever so slightly, "I did bad?"

"No, you're awesome."

The Scourge of God seemed to light up.

"I need some servants of my own..." Gudako sighed as she peered off the railings, unconcerned with the fight going on around here. To be fair, she had had about 'two character arcs' now and was in her 'unable to give a shit' phase so Nicholas didn't really blame her, "Everybody just sides with him."

Nicholas glanced at her before shrugging and going back to Altera, "Right, now do me a favour and stop these guys from fighting."

"Understood." Nodding, Altera looked down at her food and handed it to Nicholas, "I will trust Master with this."

He hadn't even finished nodding before the white haired destroyer disappeared.

She appeared next to Francis Drake and Blackbeard, kicking the latter in the groin which made him squeak pass out frothing at the mouth.

"Nice job gi-" Altera cut off Francis mid sentence, grabbed her by the shoulder and yeeted her into the sea before turning to eye the rest of the fighting.

"Silence."

This time everybody listened... Francis Drake's crew was mostly comprised of living breathing men she'd gathered from the present era while Blackbeard's was servants... However, both were pirate vessels. Seeing your captains get ragdolled had to have some degree of effect, even on those too 'special' to comprehend words.

"All of you will listen. Good civilization listens." Altera explained in her own way, to a wall... except she had a hammer to break through it, "Bad civilization gets destroyed... Understood?"

"I don't really get it but I get it!" One of the pirates shouted.

"Why the fuck are we listening to a wee lass?!"

"Cause the wee lass can wreck your shit! Take ya damn chances, I ain't got no death witsh!"

"Look at her shiny sword! Even I know that ain't normal!"

"Hm, a servant listening to our new crew member." Anne leaned on her musket like it was a cane, smiling politely, "This might be interesting."

Ignoring her, Nicholas cleared his throat and looked at the pirates, "Listen up, fellas. Y'all got no reason to be fighting."

"He said he fucked my momma! I got reason to fight! Only my Da gets to do that!"

"It was obviously provocation you stupid son of a bitch!"

"Wait... wasn't his Ma dead?"

"YEAH! He kidnapped my momma and won't tell me where she is!"

A very audible facepalm rang throughout the two ships.

"Ignoring the retard, these guys said our Cap'n was shitty! Even we pirates got that much dignity!"

"Oh yeah, the dudes that steal salt and raid poor villages have dignity." Nicholas eyed the pirate with a strange glint in his violet eyes, "Don't even get me started on the slaves."

"Slander. Hearsay! We don't do slave trade! That's the government!"

"That's true... it's part of the reason I got a bone to pick with the Crown." Francis Drake commented with an amused grin on her face, arms crossed and clothes completely drenched, "What right do you have to stop us, boy?"

"Yeah! Don't ruin my damn name! Hating on authority is my whole shtick you shitty brat!" Blackbeard indignantly waved his claw around.

Nicholas narrowed his eyes in thought for a moment before a genius idea flashed through his mind, "So, the reason y'all are fighting is for plunder and y'all hate Imu and the World Government?"

"""Yeah!"""

"Who's Imu?"

"No! I'm fighting cause he fucked my ma!"

"I did not fuck this man's ma! Put two and two together!"

Realisation flashed through Gudako's eyes as she looked at her surroundings, noticing how worked up the pirates seemed to be getting... It didn't help that their captains had stopped fighting to listen to her fellow Master.

"Shit... it's happening again."

Nicholas had a lot of traits any reasonable person would be worried about but the most worrisome of these was his tendency to do whatever came to mind at any given moment.

"The government screwed all our mothers, brother." Nicholas put a hand over his chest, closing his eyes, "Your mother had to work in a brothel cause of the government's taxes and shit."

"YEAH!"

"Wait... my ma wasn't a who-"

He bumped his chest with a fist, "Why we gotta fight their shitty wars for them?!"

""YEAH!""

"I say nay! Down with the crown! Why fight each other?"

"Yeah. Screw the crown." Francis cheered with a laugh, eyes shining with amusement and curiosity, "I'm with you, boy-... What's his name again?"

"Instead of fighting each other, we should attack the government!"

Cutlasses rose to the air as the pirates shouted in agreement with the half-naked stranger, spurred by the agreement of their individual captains.

"""YEEAH!!"""

"We'll attack Marineford and save my son!"

"They took his son?"

"He has a son? ...We gotta help a fellow pirate!"

"Shit man, I had my doubts but... FUCK YEAH! LET'S ATTACK MARINEFORD!"

"""UWOOHHHHH!!"""

"...Where is Marineford?"

"DOES IT MATTER!?!"

Francis cackled loudly, approaching the helm of her ship as Blackbeard ran to board the Queen Anne's Revenge, "Gudako! You got a fun friend! Shit like this is why each and everyone of us chose this life! Let's set sail, ya bastards! We're saving his son! To Marineford! And to one less injustice!"

"I agree with the hag! We settle our differences later!"

"...People are stupid... That's it, people are just stupid." Gudako spoke to herself, sitting in a corner of the ship, her body trembling, "How do they go from two pirate ships attacking each other to attacking the government... from words?"

Hope you enjoyed the chapter.

Check out Fate/World. It should be something new since writing quality wise, it's the best thing I've ever written.
