Wei and Yurong’s Small Talk (II)

Sun Yurong's eyes widened briefly, but in her mind, it felt like an eternity as she vividly remembered her little Yuying's face: her long white hair, her distinct purple eyes, and the sweetness of her baby-like giggle. "Y-, you've spoken with my... my daughter?" she asked with a trembling voice.

Yang Wei smiled, "Many times. You could say we're good friends."

Sun Yurong gently clasped her hands to her chest, lowering her head slightly but continuing to walk. However, there was a noticeable change in her demeanor—a peaceful smile now appeared her face, as if all her worries had vanished. She didn't even need to know how Yang Wei knew about Sun Yuying being her daughter; she was simply happy. "Well, I'm glad to hear that," she calmly said.

If she can become friends with Wei, then I'm sure she has a lot of friends... *chuckle* and patience.

"Mhm," came Yang Wei's typically casual response.
