Venessa is having preverted thoughts

 "I thought you would be in your study."

 "Why would you just assume I would be in my study?"

 "Because you normally are working by this time on Sundays." Alyssa defended herself. She was not wrong because Sinclair indeed normally spends his Sunday afternoons in his study doing whatever he does. He was such a boring introvert, well it was unfair to him an introvert. She would settle for Ambivert but the line is that he enjoys staying alone by himself.

 "Well I was not in my study this afternoon I was throwing some punches on a random punching bag." Sinclair shrugged.

 "So you were beating up a random poor soul." Alyssa accused Sinclair because she knew he had ruthlessly beaten up someone in the name of training.

 "I was training with them. It has been a while since I practice so my skills are diminishing."

 "But you call a person a punching bag." Alyssa deadpanned.
