Marcus glanced at her pitiful and dishevelled appearance and sighed not because he felt pity for her.
"If you know what is best for you, don't bother finding Jayden because things won't work out as you intended," Marcus advised Petra.
"What are you saying? I know my Jayjay, he loves me but you are all preventing him from meeting me." Petra whined. The Jayden she knew always played to the tone of her wishes.
"That was in the past. He isn't that person anymore at least not to you." Marcus stated before leaving. He had said all he needed to say.
Marcus understood the type of person Petra was and could predict what she was possibly doing next. She was planning on approaching Jayden with a pity story to help her get out of the shit she put herself in and based on the judgement she had about Jayden this would have worked.
