chapter 6

Hiruzen POV

Another bright morning in konoha,the town was peaceful and prosperous as always,and I always hope it will stay that way.

As I pull out another sheet of paper from the paperwork and it was about the orphanage asking for permission to undergo renovations.

Speaking of orphans,I wonder how that jaiden kid is doing,he seemed quite unhappy yesterday.probably because I asked him about the orphanage incident yesterday,maybe he thought I didn't believe him when he said yes.

Now wouldn't be the time to think about that,maybe later.I still have work to do anyways.

3rd pov

It was a new day and a familiar boy was lying on a king-sized bed,comfortable and nicely tucked in.

But his sleep disrupted when sunlight from his window shines through his closed eyes.annoyed by the light,his eyes opens a little to be flashed by the light from the window.he brings up his hands in an attempt to block the sunlight,hoping it would work but turns the other way.

The light from the other window is blocked by a shadowy figure as it was seen by jaiden's groggy eyes,not seeing it clearly.smiling and silently thanking the shadow that blocks the light from shining on jaiden's eyes,he then closes his eyes.

(O_O)

HOL' UP

'Wait.. Shadow?'

'nothing was there before I went to sleep,WHAT IS THAT?.maybe I should take a peek'.opening his eyes slowly to see what is casting the shadow,his eyes first met a face with all wide white eyes (without an iris or pupil) staring at him with a neutral expression and not blinking at all,then jaiden closes his eyes back.

'Ok'

...

'don't be scared,its just my imagination,maybe it's a bird causing the shadow.yep could definitely be a bird'

Jaiden opens his eye,only to see the figure there no more and lets out a sign of relief.

'Time to get up then'

As he sits up in the bed he sees a pale young lady with wide eyes(without pupil) at the door (about fifteen feet away from the bed)wearing red lipstick,in a blue haori dress,wearing shoes of some sorts with blue hair in a bun held by a hairpin and a couple of bangs each side on her face.

She was staring at him, just like a person would be staring at an empty space.

she takes a (silent) step toward jaiden

Okay time to scream.....

(cue high pitched girl scream from jaiden)

Jaiden immediately rolls out of the bed and lands on the floor.pushing himself up and looking back at the lady,he sees she was already near him but walking slowly to him.seeing this makes jaiden shuffle back with his hands to the wall while in a sitting position,he was tearing up as well.

Jaiden speaks in a scared voice "I-I-I-am sorry,I-I didn't know someone was here,please..don't hurt me"

???? pov

'Who is this child and how did he get past the gate's seal?,his face also looks so familiar.could he be a..?'.

I lift the boy up by his wrist with my hand and surprisingly he doesn't resist and i tear of the back of his cloth and pushed a little energy in him,then a kanji appears at his shoulder with a name.

'JAIDEN'

'what? But that can't be. I thought he ...'

3rd pov

'Wait,why isn't she doing anything to me.she is ju-'

"ow" jaiden exclaimed as the lady drops him and walks out the door.jaiden is currently shocked that she didn't do anything to him.normally,people in this village hate him,so he expected something bad but she did nothing.

She did something that gave him that same feeling when opening the gate and the building's entrance door,but instead of taking something,she pushed something in him.

After jaiden sat silent on the floor contemplating what just happened for a moment,he thinks whether he should leg it and never come back or stay and go after the lady,he then quickly makes his decision.

'i cant believe after all these years...I thought I failed.could he be the child still alive?'.

The lady with half-lidded downcast eyes walks down the hallway further to a room

She turns to a door and opens it revealing a library with huge ruby bookshelves with countless scrolls and books,blue marble flooring and walls and ceiling painted in gold.it was five times the size of a warehouse.she snaps her fingers which echoes and weird looking lamps lit up the entire library,making everything have a beautiful glimmer .

She then flickers to the far end of the library,at which is seen a circular symbol looking like a seal of some sorts.She walks into the seal and isn't seen and lights of the library went dim,but the seal brightly lights up and soon multiple blue lines simultaneously races around the walls of the library and continues to the rest of the house

Jaiden runs down a hall looking for the lady that confronted him,while he runs multiple blue coloured lines runs along the walls and zooms past jaiden.seeing this,jaiden picks up the pace and encounters a door opened by the,but the way through the door appeared to be protected by an opaque liquid-like wall showing multiple colors at random.

Mustering up courage,he slowly paces towards the multicolored doorway and passes through.as he passes through the same buzzing similar from yesterday was heard and the place brightens up to reveal a beautifully decorated and constructed room.

"WOW,THIS PLACE IS HUGE AND PRETTY!!!",out of childish excitement,jaiden shouts and runs in the room randomly while berating how 'cool' the place looked.after few minutes of running around like a child high on sugar,he suddenly runs into the seal at the end of the large room and falls back to react to the pain

"OWOWOWOWOWOWOW.THAT HURTS REAL BAD"

A female voice suddenly resonates around the whole building

"then maybe you should know its wrong to run around recklessly,especially in a place you haven't been before"

As the building talks,the blue lines glow at the same time.

'w-who was that?.it's like the building itself is talking'

Jaiden,being creeped out,looks at the seal and starts talking,"umm..good morning..and.h-hello..m-magical talking house.m-my name is jaiden.what are you?"

The building answers "I am a being",jaiden responds quizzically "a being?", "yes, a being"

'i wonder what a being she is?'

As if to answer the question on jaiden's mind,she says

"Virtually Energized Training and Residential Assistant"

"wait,TRAINING?

"yes, a training assistant"

Jaiden couldn't believe how amazing this place is so far.too bad it's someone's place and not his.

Jaiden feeling sad about having a sudden realization that this is not his home and leaving the place,he turns to head towards the exit of the large room,"well, time go out" jaiden says "no use staying in a place that isn't mine".the voice immediately responds "and where will you go?",to which jaiden answers "anywhere on the street.as long as I don't get beaten by the rain or chased by villagers,I think I will be OK".

The being's POV

What does he mean by staying on the street?

I ask jaiden "where will you sleep then at night?",he then answers "in the alleyways,it can be really cold at night"

No

This is definitely wrong

How could I have let that happen.I have to fix this.

I tell the boy "you can stay here,if you want?",his eyes lightens up "wait,really?",

"yes you can".

"but I don't know you".

"let's just say we've met before,don't worry,this is your new home."

The boy starts running around,he's really hyperactive.

3rd pov

As jaiden comes to a halt after running around out of unbridled joy,he gladly falls on his back and says " thanks virtual ener...um".

"Just call me VETRA"

Then the seal starts glowing brightly that jaiden had to stand up to look at it and out of the seal came out a familiar lady.as the seal stopped shining but continues to glow,he sees the same woman who scared the hell out of him earlier this morning.

Jaiden points as at the lady with his index finger being frightened and says "y-y-you are that lady that creeped me out this morning"."my apologies" VETRA says "now can I give you a tour of the house". jaiden says "yes please".

And after that the being teleports them out of the room

"woah!! How did you do that?"

"its a simple technique,MAYBE I could teach you.Maybe"

"That's so cool"

"It is"

"So umm...why is this building walls with blue glowy lines and what do you mean by we've met?"

'i have a lot to explain'
