The darkening clouds and forceful wind brushed against her face as she sat inside the car, leaning her head against the back of the seat and gazing outside.
Silent tears continued to stream down her cheeks. The thunderous rumblings of the clouds made her flinch slightly, pulling her out of her thoughts.
Being alone with him in the car made her extremely nervous. He hadn't spoken to her since she got in, and she couldn't understand why.
She remained fixated on the view outside the window as the rain poured down heavily. As she tightly clasped her hands together, she couldn't help but wonder what would happen when they reached his home.
Her growing anxiety was exacerbated by his silence but maybe once they reach home, she'll try to talk things out and clear the air between them.
She never thought she'd actually consider this whole marriage thing, especially after the mistreatment of his towards her. But, now he's her husband, so she figures she'll give it a try and try to make things work, considering he's the one who came through for them when they were in a tough spot.
She kinda believes that everything that happened was just fate, So she's accepting it and leading with it.
She took a deep breath and looked over at him, noticing how tightly he gripped the steering wheel while speeding down the road.
It was clear he was angry, with his jaw clenched so tight. Feeling nervous, she looked away and focused on the passing scenery outside the window.
As they continued their journey, she couldn't help but worry about what would happen once they arrived at their destination.
She couldn't ignore the fact that his family seemed to hold a grudge against her. Throughout the whole wedding process - even during their engagement - no one bothered to talk to her.
And today, during the actual ceremony, it was no different. She couldn't quite understand why they didn't like her... Perhaps it was because she was an orphan?
But then another question came into her mind, how did he even know her father, and why did he claim that her father had asked him to marry her?
She was feeling overwhelmed and just needed a moment to clear her head. So, with a heavy sigh, she closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down and relax her breathing.
But then, out of nowhere, the car came to a sudden stop, causing her body to jerk forward. Her eyes flew open in panic, and she watched as he got out of the car and forcefully slammed the door and, she flinched at the sound.
Feeling nervous, she gathered her courage, opened the door, and stepped out, holding onto her wedding gown tightly.
Her nervousness only increased when she realized there was no one waiting outside for them. She looked around, taking in the surroundings.
Without a word to her, he began walking towards the entrance, and she hesitantly followed. The heaviness of her dress slowed her down. As they entered the main hall, she noticed him stop in his tracks.
That's when she saw his mother sitting on the couch. He was walking towards his mother, and she just stood there clueless about what to do. They started to talk, but she felt really awkward because they both acted like she wasn't even there.
While she was still standing there, his mother sarcastically said, "Are you planning on standing there all night?"
She looked up from the ground and saw his mother glaring at her and she gulped nervously.
She didn't know what to say, and then his mother said, "Go to your room."
She heard his mother loudly calling for someone named 'Marie.'
A young woman came running over and bowed her head in front of his mother.
"Show her to her room," his mom instructed the lady.
The lady came up to her and said, "This way, ma'am."
She nodded subtly and glanced at her husband, who hadn't said a word to her and wasn't even looking at her.
She started walking with that lady and they went into the room. The lady asked if she wanted anything and she politely said she was okay.
She went over to the bed and sat down gently. Letting out a heavy sigh, she closed her eyes and tried to relax.
But that feeling didn't last long when thoughts of her husband came to mind. She didn't know what he was up to and wondered if he would be angry and take out his anger on her with hurtful words. But he didn't talk to her at all, not even by accident.
This behavior of his is way scarier than when he's angry. Maybe he's not really like what he did in the changing room at the wedding. Perhaps he acted that way because he was drunk, since he's never treated her like that before. And that too, he started saying hurtful words after that incident in the lift... maybe that's why he behaved like that with her in his drunken state.
She sighed and waited for almost half the evening for him to come to this room, but he didn't show up.
Now she's feeling even more nervous, and her dress feels suffocating because she thought she'd get to change when she came to his home. But nobody here is even talking to her. His mother showed her anger, and he didn't even bother to face her or talk to her.
She waited for him again, thinking it was getting too late at night and he still wasn't in the room. She was considering asking the woman who helped her get to the room about his whereabouts.
Feeling weak from hunger since she hadn't eaten all day, she thought she might pass out at any moment.
Letting out a gentle sigh, she stood up and walked towards the door. She reached for the doorknob and gave it a slight twist, but suddenly flinched at the sound of a gunshot.
Terrified, she wondered what had happened outside.
She mustered the courage to open the door and quickly stepped outside to see what was going on.
But, her footsteps came to an abrupt halt as she saw the scene in front of her, making her feel like she was staring at a ghost, shaking her to the core.
She was filled with dread as she witnessed her husband sprawled on the floor, blood seeping from his arm and clutching his wounded limb, while menacing men in black suits encircled him.
A gulp caught in her throat as she caught sight of someone sitting on the couch, their back turned to her.
She quickly averted her gaze when she heard the piercing wails of her mother-in-law. The men forcibly held her arms, restraining her from rushing toward her son.
Overwhelmed by the horrifying scene before her, she stood frozen, unable to move.
The anguished growls of her husband pierced through her shock, jolting her back to reality and she run towards her husband but, she felt someone grabs her by the waist and was abruptly pulled back and found herself tightly held against his chest.
A scream escaped her lips as he forcefully embraced her, enveloping her in his desperate grip. She was filled with fear as she realized she was trapped in someone's grasp.
With all her strength, she fought to break free from his hold.
His whispered words in her ear sent chills down her spine.
"You're blowing my mind, so stay still or I might do something to you right in front of your husband," he threatened.
Horror washed over her as she turned her head towards him and saw his face - the same man she had encountered in the elevator.
Her eyes widened in shock at the sight of his devilish appearance - his darkened eyes and wicked smirk.
"Let her go, you bastard!" her husband's voice shouted.
She struggled even harder to escape his clutches and pleaded, still locked in his gaze, "Let go of me."
But he only laughed and, with a husky voice, whispered in her ear,
"Darling, you have no idea what I'm capable of. I could do anything to you right here, right now. Is that what you want? You want your husband to watch?"
Teasingly, he planted a kiss on her ear.
She flinched at the touch, her eyes welling up with tears in anger and she felt ashamed to be in his embrace in front of her husband and her mother in law.
He had a satisfied look on his face when he saw her eyes tearing and found her try to break free but his strong hold didn't let her out of his embrace.
"Leave my wife" he heard her husband's words, as he turned towards him, his eyes darkened and he cruelly smirked
"Soon she will become my whore"
Her heart skipped a beat with terror when she heard his words.
Her husband struggled to break free and through gritted teeth, he said, "Even thought about that, I will kill you, Rodriguez"
Hearing the words he laughed and replied, "Oh, I will, Ricardo. Maybe I can show you just what I will do with her after taking her with me."
Her heart raced, and she couldn't help but shiver, consumed by fear at his words.
But what he said next froze her to the core,
"Want to see her get fucked by me..."
