Sometimes we don't need to do anything.

Chapter 18

"I'm just trying to figure out how to get by without attracting attention", I replied to Talita.

"I think that in the same way we went before, we will then kill those who come after us like before", Talita replied, confused as to why we needed to talk about this.

"Yes, let's do it", she replied, looking at me suspiciously.

There are fewer zombies that were starting to spread before, there are no longer the poor guy to get their attention.

I took a metal can that I kept after drinking the soda at the snack bar and threw it in the opposite direction, we took advantage of the fact that they were running after the can and we walked across the street towards the parking lot, which is three streets away.

It seemed like I wouldn't need to worry about Talita's now ex-boyfriend because a zombie came up behind him and bit his neck, unfortunately he screamed and Talita looked back.

"There's no way to save him, he's already been bitten"

I held her when she wanted to run there, after she saw that I wasn't letting go she started screaming and kicking until I put my hand in her mouth, of course I was bitten but I left my hand in her mouth.

Maria: "talita stop it, you know he was gone after being bitten"

Me: "We don't have much time until they come here, get yourself together too"

As soon as I said that, I threw the talita to Maria as soon as I saw the zombies rounding the corner.

"Same strategy as before, as soon as you enter the building next to us, clean whatever is inside"

Maria literally dragged the talita with her to the building next to us that I don't know what and I didn't have time to see, at least it has a reception with chairs to use as mini barriers.

The doors were wide open so the chance of someone or something inside was slim, Maria pushed the talita roughly on the floor next to a wall and stood in front of her to protect her, it looked like it was just going to be me fighting.

Let's debut the sword.

Damn there's a zombie a little bigger than the others in the back.

Zombi level 5: midway through evolution into a first-stage organism, inclined towards vigor status, capable of infecting through bite, low chance of infection through spiders.

This new zombie is a little slow and lags behind even lvl 1 zombies.

In front there are three lvl 3 zombies that now, with this new weapon, I can cut through like a hot knife through butter.

Right after them come seven lvs 1 that I manage to leave for the girls to finish later, by disconnecting the head from the body and kicking the heads to the side.

Now there's only the big one who's still a little far away, I'm going to cut his knee first, he's very slow and that way he's more manageable since it's going to be difficult to hit his head without getting too close.

As soon as he got closer I went around him and cut one of his knees with the new weapon, I felt a little resistance, but luckily I managed to cut him and he fell to the side.

He is dangerous and is recovering his protective instincts as he put his arms up to cushion his fall, as soon as he did that I, with both hands on the hilt of the sword, cut off his head.

There are only two more zombies left to catch lvl 10, I'm going to kill the ones I had left for the girls, Maria is on the sidelines now because she saw that it was finished and is comforting Talita.

When killing the two zombies the system talks to me.

'when you reach lvl 10, depending on your talent, you have a chance to unlock a class, being the first to unlock it and having privileges with the system will be explained'

' high talent: has a 1/4 chance of unlocking a class

elevated talent: 1/10 chance to unlock a class

Medium talent: 1/25 chance of unlocking a class

low talent: 1/100 chance of unlocking a class'

' Classes are divided into levels.

Common: non-combatant professions, e.g. teacher, farmer, attendant…

Uncommon: combat professions, e.g. soldier, fighter, swordsman...

rare: lost professions, e.g. wizards, cultivators…

you: unique, ex: unknown '

'by being the first to unlock a class, the user has the chance to choose a unique class'

unique class: magic swordsman

It's not really a choice when you only have one option.

Magic swordsman: class versed in both the art of the unknown and the art of the blade, increases one point in all attributes every two levels.

Wow just use it.

' after having a class unlocked, skills will be available related to it '

'Choose one of the available options'

Skill1: reinforcement Skill2: enchant weapon Skill3: mind regeneration

reinforcement: gives a temporary increase of 10% per skill level in physical statistics. Lasts 30 minutes, waiting time 30 minutes.

enchant weapon: reinforces weapons with energy for different effects depending on the type of weapon and material. Lasts 10 minutes, waiting time 1 minute.

mind regeneration: accelerates the recovery time of the mystical energy that makes up the mind, speeds up the recovery time by 25% per skill level.

I think I'll go with reinforcement, I don't have a skill that uses the mind extensively, I just have analysis but for now I can manage it.

(I will put the old value of what was changed in parentheses in front of the statuses)

Name: Walacer Lima

Status: excited

Class: magic swordsman

Level: 10 (0/220)

Strength: 14+1 (11)

Stamina: 16+1 (15)

Agility: 18+1 (16) skill

Mind: 13+1 (12)

Skills: analyze lvl 2 (22%), agility up lvl 1 (0%), boost lvl 1 (0%)

Equipment: Storage Belt lvl 1

Points: 0

I put the two lvl up points in strength, and from what I saw the xp points for the next lvl doubled after lvl 10.

It's not much yet, but from the next lvl I won't receive any more xp from lvl 1 zombies.

A treasure box fell from the big zombie, still white and unchanged, it should only change when it is an evolved organism.
