Chapter 17: Found Out

After Nico wrote his note to Will, he took a small rest for a minute, and continued on. He wasn't going to risk being found following the trail of the Titan if he could help it. He knew he was still at risk, since the Titan would force him to help, but at least he'd gotten a message to Camp. Hooefully they were preparing. Because Kronos could be free at any minute. If he even found a way out. "Oh, he'll find his way out, I'm sure of it." Nico froze, scowling. Why did quests always have to go wrong at somepoint? Much to his annoyance, he turned around, but hadn't been expecting to find who he did. A tall, bearded, and muscular monster, with fiercely glowing skin, and golden eyes. He wore gold Armour, and carried a long, golden sword, probably made of Imperial gold. "Hyperion." Nico grumbled, pushing his fear down. He remembered that Percy had beaten this Titan in the Battle of Manhattan. And he also remembered that this guy had died for Kronos's plan. He prepared himself to either run or fight. "Nico di Angelo, son of Hades. I believe Kronos gave his army orders to bring good you to him." And here we go again, Nico thought. "I see. If you want to take me, you'll have to find me first, Hyperion." The Titan smirked. "So be it." And, with that, Nico dared to raise some of the dead, and shadow travel as Hyperion's blade came toward him. Luckily, he wasn't hit, and he landed in front of a hut that was in the middle of a swamp. He recalled the story Annabeth had told him of where Bob had taken them before they met Akhyls. His vision started to blur. "Damasen..." He stumbled into the hut, tired and hurt, but fell to the floor, and no matter how hard he fought, the darkness won.
