Eiji’s Belief in Yuta’s Talent

"Don't be impatient, Kamiki, you're like an elementary school student~"

Ignoring Panda's joke, Eiji gazed at Yuta.

"O-Our purpose in meeting you is to deliver a message from Gojo-sensei."

Unable to withstand his gaze, Yuta spoke nervously. Compared to Panda and Toge who were friendly, Maki and Eiji's personalities didn't suit him as he was nervous.

"Gojo-sensei's message? Why didn't he just tell me directly instead of sending both of you?"

Hearing this, Eiji raised an eyebrow, not understanding his cousin's convoluted actions.

"Isn't it because your phone couldn't be reached? So Gojo-sensei assigned us to deliver his message." Panda shrugged and said.

"I see."

Taking out his phone from the storage ring, as soon as Eiji turned on the phone, 99+ message notifications bombarded the screen.

"So many messages... Is Gojo-sensei that free?"

When storing the phone in the storage ring, messages or phone calls wouldn't come through due to no signal. Moreover, he had just been in another world, so even if he checked his phone, it wouldn't connect to the internet.

"Gojo-sensei said you can return to school starting tomorrow."

"Really? Has Tsukumo Yuki already left?"

Snapping out of his reverie, Eiji placed the phone on the table and looked at Panda who had just spoken.

"Your guess is correct. After staying in the dormitory for a few days, she decided to leave."

"I guess I underestimated her patience. Well, considering her wild personality, it's understandable if she can't stand staying in one place for too long."

"You're really good at provoking women, Kamiki."

Panda thumbs-upped while smiling.

"Don't mention that. Until now, I don't understand why she's so angry with me."

Glancing at Panda out of the corner of his eye, Eiji shifted his attention to Yuta, who was listening.

"How about you, Okkutsu? Are you getting used to your daily life as a Jujutsu Sorcerer?"

"Uh, thanks to everyone's help, I somehow manage..."

Not expecting to be asked, Yuta answered honestly while scratching the back of his head.

Among his three classmates, he interacted the least with Eiji. He was still somewhat awkward in chatting with him.

"Um, I hope you learn Domain Expansion as soon as possible."

"What?! Domain Expansion?!"

"What's Domain Expansion?"

Panda's surprised reaction after hearing Eiji's words made Yuta curious.

This was the first time he heard that term.

"Didn't Gojo-sensei teach you this knowledge, Okkutsu?"

"Never."

"Hmmm... Gojo-sensei is as careless as usual. Panda, I'll explain this to him."

Since he wasn't good at speaking, Eiji delegated this task to Panda.

"Alright, besides, this isn't confidential information. But Kamiki, you owe me one."

"Sure."

Accepting his agreement, Panda began to speak to Yuta.

"Domain Expansion is the most superior technique among all jujutsu users. Users of this technique will create a special area or territory filled with their Cursed Energy. The surrounding environment can change drastically depending on the type of Cursed Energy the user possesses."

"Within the Domain Expansion area, the user can determine special rules and effects that apply. For example, their attacks become stronger, opponents are subjected to certain effects, and so on. In simple terms, Domain Expansion is considered the ultimate technique for Jujutsu Sorcerers."

Yuta listened seriously like an exemplary student.

"Amazing... But I'm not confident I can use it."

After understanding what Domain Expansion is, he became even more amazed at the world of Jujutsu.

"Kamiki, are you really optimistic about Yuta mastering Domain Expansion?"

Panda looked at Eiji incredulously, with doubt and uncertainty. Even Yuta didn't know where that confidence in him came from.

"Talent. Okkutsu Yuta is very talented. I believe it won't take long for him to learn and master his own Domain Expansion." Eiji said without any doubt.

Of course, the source of his confidence was because he knew future information from Lin Fan's memories.

Just one year after Yuta became a Jujutsu high school student, when he returned from Africa, he participated in the Culling Game and faced Ancient Jujutsu Sorcerers, and he competed in Domain Expansion against others.

Honestly, based solely on talent, Eiji admitted that his talent was slightly inferior to Yuta's. After all, it took him more than two years to master Domain Expansion perfectly.

Although it sounded unpleasant, hard work couldn't be compared to natural talent.

"Wow, this is the first time I've seen Kamiki praise someone else that highly. Yuta, your potential is frightening! It seems like this generation of Tokyo Jujutsu High School students will produce genius duos like in Gojo-sensei's generation."

"Oh, stop it, Panda, I'm worried Rikka-chan will get mad."

Feeling Rikka's emotional turmoil, Yuta hurriedly stopped Panda, who was patting his back enthusiastically.

"Oh, I forgot. I almost provoked your girlfriend."

"Ahaha..."

Yuta just laughed dryly in response.

After that, the three of them chatted about trivial matters. Mostly it was Panda talking, and Yuta responding, while Eiji just listened and occasionally expressed his opinion.

An hour later, Panda and Yuta left.

"Nanako-san, thank you for letting me stay here. I'll be returning to the dormitory tomorrow."

Approaching Nanako, Eiji informed her of this news.

"Hm? Isn't your break for a week?"

"The problem that bothered me was resolved sooner than expected."

"I see. Then tonight, I'll cook something fancy."

"No need to overdo it."

"You must. Anyway, there will be a farewell party."

"Up to you."

Seeing her stubbornness, Eiji gave up persuading her.

At 8:10 PM, a young man and three women gathered at the dining table and enjoyed dinner.

Haru seemed indifferent and didn't care about the news of Eiji's departure. On the other hand, Kosaki looked slightly disappointed, but she hid her feelings well.

...

Several weeks later.

Eiji's life returned to normal without encountering any incidents.

Due to the school schedule, he didn't have time to visit other worlds through Azure. Additionally, he was skeptical about his luck.

Although the plot was approaching, it wasn't urgent. So he enjoyed his time as a high school student.

At 8:30 AM.

Wearing winter uniforms, Eiji and his friends walked together, with scarves around their necks.

"Hm?"

"...?"

Eiji and Yuta's footsteps stopped simultaneously.

"What's wrong, Yuta, Eiji?" Maki asked curiously.

Panda and Toge turned around and saw them both staring in one direction.

"Eng... I feel a bad omen." Yuta said uncertainly.

"It's just your feeling." Maki said nonchalantly and continued walking.

"No, Okkutsu is right." Eiji affirmed, pointing to the sky.

"It's not usual."

"Yuta's intuition is correct."

"Salmon."

Panda, Maki, and Toge saw a Cursed Spirit resembling a bird with four wings quickly descending towards them.

As the Cursed Spirit landed, Panda had already deployed finger reinforcement, Maki drew her naginata, and Toge lowered his scarf, revealing his mouth.

Maki: "You're not from around here, are you?"

Panda: "That's a Cursed Spirit I've never seen before."

Toge: "Salmon eggs."

Yuta: "Wow, a big bird."

Eiji: "Oh, have you finally taken action, Suguru-san?"
