Arrival in a New World

Exiting the portal, Eiji heightened his alertness to the maximum. After all, he didn't know what dangers awaited him in the world he had entered.

"Not bad. My luck isn't so bad this time."

He found himself in a beautifully decorated room with expensive furniture.

"Now, what anime is this world based on?"

Inspecting the room, he found no clues. Approaching the window, he was amazed to see a massive castle in the distance.

The castle towered over all other buildings, its grandeur unmatched, exuding an undeniable aura of superiority and arrogance.

With his Six Eyes, Eiji could see several kilometers. From his position, he clearly saw the castle walls made of gleaming white stone, adorned with intricate carvings, and massive pillars supporting the castle's structure.

The castle was superior to any on Earth.

"Judging by the architecture here, this world is not based on Earth." Eiji speculated.

"Hm?"

As he observed the surroundings, he noticed the locals strolling around.

A five-meter-tall man was crawling on his hands and feet like an animal. Wearing tattered clothes, there was an iron collar around his neck connected by a chain.

Riding on the back of the giant man was an odd-looking person.

It was a middle-aged man wearing a ridiculous costume that consisted of a white robe resembling a spacesuit with a skirt, and an air bubble on his head.

He used the giant man as his mount, occasionally whipping him if dissatisfied.

Besides the giant man, there were several others wearing iron collars around their necks, accompanying the middle-aged man.

There was also a group of masked men who seemed to be guarding the middle-aged man for his safety.

"That appearance... He's a Tenryuubito. So that's Pangaea Castle..."

"I see. This is the world of One Piece."

"Right now, I am in Mary Geoise, which is the most dangerous place."

Understanding this, Eiji retracted his earlier words. His luck remained as bad as ever.

Azure's portal connected to Mary Geoise.

The Holy Land Mary Geoise is the capital of the World Government where its top officials reside and rule, and also the residence of the Tenryuubito (Celestial Dragons).

Mary Geoise is situated atop the Red Line on the opposite side of the world from Reverse Mountain and serves as the official route for people to cross between the two halves of the Grand Line, though only those who act according to the law are allowed to pass through. Therefore, pirates and other criminals must pass through the Red Line via Fish-Man Island to cross.

"Tenryuubito, huh... They look even more annoying to see in person."

Eiji looked at the Tenryuubito riding the giant man with disgust.

The Tenryuubito are the Nobles of this world, claiming to be descendants of the creators of the World Government. Thus, they are free to act as they please without consequences, even committing heinous crimes, and if threatened in any way, they have the authority to call an Admiral to deal with the offending party.

Because no one can oppose their authority, the Tenryuubito constantly abuse their power and look down on people of lower status, referring to them as commoners. Even a king of a country in their eyes is a lowly peasant and must submit to their wishes, or their entire kingdom will face destruction.

Eiji concluded that the Tenryuubito are a group of trash and incompetent people who hold the highest authority in the world.

"But are the Tenryuubito truly weak? If they were weak, how could their ancestors defeat the Ancient Kingdom with advanced civilization led by Joy Boy and establish the current World Government?"

"It doesn't make sense, unless... Someone deliberately made the Tenryuubito live a luxurious lifestyle for hundreds of years so their potential would be buried and forgotten."

"The Gorosei (Five Elders) are also Tenryuubito, but they don't wear air bubbles on their heads and ridiculous costumes like other Tenryuubito. However, are they weak? Of course not, they are among the undisputed top powerhouses in the world."

"Moreover, another powerful Tenryuubito is Saint Figarland Garling of the Figarland Family, who is the leader of the God's Knights."

"Im-sama deliberately weakened the Tenryuubito so they wouldn't threaten it rule over the world."

Eiji had to admit that Im-sama's plan was very clever.

Of course, he knew all this even though he had just arrived in the One Piece world, thanks to Lin Fan's memories, which had greatly contributed to his knowledge.

"Forget it, the moral decay of the Tenryuubito has nothing to do with me. Rather, the power scale of the One Piece world is not low, on the contrary, it's somewhat higher compared to the Jujutsu Kaisen world."

"Devil Fruits and Haki, those are the signature products of this world. As for making friends with powerful figures and asking for their help to defeat Sukuna... With my personality, it's hard for me to make friends. Moreover, those powerhouses wouldn't easily form friendships."

For the time being, Eiji set aside the idea of making friends and asking for help from powerhouses. As long as he ate a powerful Devil Fruit or learned Haki to the highest level, he was confident in facing Sukuna at his peak.

"Mary Geoise should have many Devil Fruits, right?"

The World Government has been standing for 800 years. Plus, every country affiliated with the World Government must pay tribute annually.

The World Government's accumulated wealth is beyond ordinary people's understanding.

This is evident from the Tenryuubito wasting hundreds of millions of belly just to buy slaves or feed Devil Fruits to slaves for entertainment.

"The Gorosei are Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit users. For the World Government, collecting Devil Fruits scattered across the world is not difficult." Eiji said calmly, but his eyes were shining.

Devil Fruits are a source of extraordinary power in the One Piece world, and arguably the easiest way to gain power in a short time. By eating one, a person can acquire certain abilities, at the cost of losing the ability to swim. Devil Fruits are categorized into three types based on the powers they grant: Logia, Zoan, and Paramecia.

Every Devil Fruit is valuable, not everyone can eat one just because they want to. The rarity of Devil Fruits in the world makes the price of each fruit very high. The stronger the fruit, the higher its price.

On the other hand, the Tenryuubito feed Devil Fruits to slaves just for fun. This proves the abundant resources owned by the World Government.

As the holders of the highest authority in the World Government, second only to Im-sama, the Gorosei can freely choose the Devil Fruits they like.

It is worth noting, Mythical Zoan Devil Fruits are said to be even rarer than Logia! These fruits can transform the user into mythical creatures!

"Alright, it's decided. My target is the Devil Fruits in Mary Geoise."

For the last time, Eiji watched the Tenryuubito strolling arrogantly, accompanied by slaves serving them humbly, then he began inspecting the building he was in, hoping to find a Devil Fruit.
