Finding a Teacher

"Fuffuffuffuffu... See what you get!"

Aside from those oppressed by the Tenryuubito, the happiest person about the disaster at Mary Geoise was none other than Donquixote Doflamingo.

Doflamingo always held a grudge against the World Government for stripping his Tenryuubito status, even though he had offered them his father's head, who was the reason their family left their Tenryuubito status and chose to live as ordinary people.

"This is the best day ever. Without the World Government's protection, the Tenryuubito are nothing but a bunch of useless people. Too bad Kamiki Eiji didn't completely wipe them out. Well, that's impossible given the presence of the Gorosei there."

Putting the newspaper on the table, Doflamingo calmed down a bit after a satisfied laugh.

As a former Tenryuubito, he knew many secrets that the average person didn't. Because of this, he could negotiate with the World Government.

"After causing such a commotion, there's no way the Gorosei would stay silent. That means Kamiki Eiji managed to escape despite being surrounded by the Gorosei."

Thinking of this, Doflamingo stared at the photo of the white-haired young man in the newspaper with an indescribable gleam behind his glasses.

No one could guess his thoughts but himself.

"Kamiki Eiji's strength is at least on par with a Yonko or just slightly weaker. Let's warn the other executives not to provoke him if they encounter him."

The newspaper didn't specify Kamiki Eiji's strength. Therefore, Doflamingo could only guess how strong the other party was. But one thing was certain: the other party was stronger than him.

No matter how arrogant Doflamingo was, he couldn't antagonize a Yonko, let alone the World Government.

"Trebol, call all the executives; we're going to have a meeting."

Using the Den Den Mushi to make the call, Doflamingo immediately stated his purpose.

"Understood, Young Master."

Trebol on the other end was a bit curious why Doflamingo suddenly summoned all the executives, but he held back his doubts and promptly carried out the order.

"It's such a delight to see the World Government's reputation tarnished by an unknown young man. Fuffuffuffuffu..."

Doflamingo couldn't contain his joy every time he imagined the chaos at Mary Geoise.

The next day.

Opening his eyes, Eiji was momentarily confused seeing the wooden ceiling.

"I remember, this is the One Piece World."

Sitting up and rubbing his eyes, his drowsiness gradually faded and his mind cleared.

Yesterday, he recalled his battle with Kong in a simulated form in his mind. Eiji tried applying the method of using Haki on himself, but it didn't go well.

"Learning Haki self-taught is too difficult and time-consuming. It's more efficient to find someone who can help me master Haki."

Getting out of bed, he opened the window, and the salty scent brought by the sea breeze hit his face, which was still drowsy from waking up.

"Most of the land in the One Piece World consists of islands of varying sizes. The sea area in this world is several times larger than the sea on Earth. This world is truly unique."

Enjoying the fresh air without vehicle pollution, Eiji felt his mind relax. Closing his eyes, he rummaged through Lin Fan's memories related to the One Piece anime.

"Monkey D. Dragon, Monkey D. Garp, Zephyr, Silvers Rayleigh..."

Eiji listed the names of Haki specialists.

"Garp can be excluded. His mastery of Haki is undoubtedly among the best in the world, but he's from the Marines, so he wouldn't want to teach me Haki."

He knew Garp openly showed his dislike for the Tenryuubito. Even so, he wouldn't betray the Marines. That's why the Gorosei repeatedly tolerated Garp.

Eiji didn't just kill Tenryuubito but also Kong, who was Garp's former superior. The other party surely harbored a grudge against him.

"Zephyr is a good teacher. Even Sakazuki, Aokiji, and Borsalino were his students. He also trained many strong Marine officers. However... Kong was his former superior just like Garp."

Crossing out Zephyr's name in his mind, Eiji thought of the two remaining names.

"Dragon trained Sabo from a young age. He should be a competent teacher, right? He's the leader of the Revolutionary Army; he'd probably be willing to teach me Haki in exchange for joining or cooperating with the Revolutionary Army."

The World Government wouldn't just let him be, Eiji was sure of that. If his location was revealed, the Marines would likely send an Admiral leading a large fleet.

It wasn't impossible that a Buster Call would be used.

In the eyes of the World Government, the longer Eiji was left alive, the more their reputation in the world would be tarnished.

"The only problem is Dragon's whereabouts are unknown. He's the most dangerous criminal because of his ideas to overthrow the World Government. Even the World Government can't find his location, so how could I?"

This was a troublesome issue. Eiji didn't want to waste time searching for someone.

According to his calculations, the Jujutsu World's plot would soon begin in a month. Although there was still time before his cousin was sealed in the Prison Realm by Kenjaku, Eiji felt frustrated because his power was stagnating.

"So the only remaining candidate is Silvers Rayleigh. No matter how I look at it, he's the most suitable."

Thinking carefully, Eiji chose Rayleigh as his teacher.

Rayleigh was the one who trained Luffy for two years. His teaching ability had been verified. Finding him wasn't difficult either; there were only two places he could be: the Sabaody Archipelago or Amazon Lily.

"It's decided, let's find Rayleigh."

Having made up his mind, Eiji took out a set of clothes and a hooded cloak from the Storage Ring, then began dressing.

A day had passed, and he guessed his bounty poster had already been released and spread. It would be better to hide his face to avoid someone reporting him to the Marines.

He wasn't afraid of facing a crazy Marine pursuit; he just didn't want to waste time.

Descending the stairs to the first floor of the inn, which also doubled as a dining area, many people were having breakfast while discussing the same topic: the death of the Tenryuubito and the attack on Mary Geoise.

"The dissemination of information in this world is only slightly slower than in modern civilization." Eiji murmured in a low voice.

When no one was looking, he used [Blue] to suck a newspaper from a table into his hand, then hurried out of the inn.

"The World Government is very determined to catch me, huh... They didn't hesitate to put a bounty on my head."

Opening the newspaper while walking, Eiji saw his photo clearly displayed on the page.

WANTED

Dead or Alive

KAMIKI EIJI

3,500,000,000 Belly

...

"3.5 billion belly... This is an extraordinary number for someone appearing on a bounty poster for the first time. From this, it can be seen how much of a threat I am in the eyes of the World Government. Since I can infiltrate Mary Geoise once, why not twice and so on?"

"I'm sure the Tenryuubito can't sleep well before my death, fearing they will meet a tragic fate like the five unlucky Tenryuubito I killed."

No longer thinking about this topic, Eiji flipped through the newspaper. He wanted to determine the current timeline of the world.

Is Luffy still being trained by Rayleigh on Amazon Lily, or hasn't he even reached the Sabaody Archipelago yet?

Determining the timeline was crucial.
