The signal to the first game of the final round rang out as fans’ cheers thundered.

Halves summoned by the two men materialized, standing beside their masters. White Wolf still had Maria, the sole Half in his deck and the Half that had proven the world how capable she was. At the same time, his opponent had a female knight in golden armor and a long lance in her hand.

“The game begins. Both summoners summoned their Halves at the same time. Naturally, it’s Maria for White Wolf. As for Shaggy, he chose Aether, a speed-type knight. I’m certain that he specifically picked her to counter the huntress before him.”
