Everyone froze, then narrowed their eyes. Her calling it his best didn’t match what they had in their minds at all.

“Because he wants to win to rise as quickly as possible, there’s no need to make every battle a grand one. There’s no need to put all of your strength into every punch you throw. You only have to calculate your strength and adjust your punches appropriately. That’s all it’s needed to send your opponents to the ground.”

Merlin blinked blankly.

“Ma’am, are you talking about the same Joker I know?”

Madame Fon guffawed at his question.

“I can’t argue with that, yeah. Still, up until now, that four-eyes has been trying out his deck like a kid with a new toy. He’s a mischievous little rascal. You guys probably know that well, right?”
