You must swear to me that for as long as you have this card, you will use it for good. You must be a summoner who helps build your country and make it prosper. You must be someone who will help push the AOS forward in the right direction…”

It was his first time seeing such a solemn expression from his team’s president.

That day, Merlin was still a rookie summoner. He hadn’t been in the AOS industry for long, still, a young pup whom everyone expected to become the core of Saint Unicorn.

“Sir? What’s that card?”

The sixteen-year-old boy accepted the card he had never seen before from the senior he greatly respected. His innocent and naive eyes stared at the illusion of a silver sword decorated with graceful carvings. The rim of the card was shiny golden, completely different from normal cards.

“Ex…calibur…” His eyes widened. “Seriously?!”
