Time Stop Part II

“My goodness…I need a rest. Young men these days sure are energetic. My bones are aching all over.”

An old man gingerly sat down in his chair, a look of weariness apparent throughout his body.

Charles Robertson needed to loosen his tie a little and put his feet up a bit to relax.

It had been so many years since he last fought such a tough battle.

“Excuse me, Bob. Could you please pour me a cup of warm tea?”

“Huh? Oh! Of course, sir. Please wait a moment.”

His eyes followed a team staff who hurriedly jogged away to fulfill his request. Charles then let out a small exhale through his mouth before glancing at the person next to him. His neighbor was dutifully reading through the information on his tablet, and after a while, he noticed that he was being stared at.

The pair of brilliant violet eyes paused and turned to the old man next to him.

“Please, don’t mind me. You should make the most out of your free time.”
