Déjà Vu Part I

“Wow! So many people! What’s that? …That smells delicious, I want it! What’s that thing!?”

Everything seemed new and fascinating to the little girl embarking on her first-ever adventure. Flora, perched on Dani’s shoulder, had sparkling eyes full of wonder, pointing out everything she found interesting. Dani, who carried her across his shoulder, had to hold on tightly to ensure she didn’t dart off to cause more mischief.

“Calm down, will you? Stop acting like an overexcited puppy!”

Dani scolded, but his words seemed to fall on deaf ears. Flora remained engrossed in the sights around her, her excitement uncontainable.

Seeing this, the blond-haired man could only let out a heavy sigh.

“Seriously, it’s like I’ve become a babysitter now.”

“Oh, come on. It’s her first time. She’ll settle down soon enough,” Joke replied with an awkward laugh before turning his attention back to the task at hand.
