Dani exhaled a sigh of relief. Initially, he had worried about Eureasa handling the onslaught alone, but now, with Flora adding her unpredictable power to the fray, things seemed to be more under control.

Dani almost cursed aloud when a white dragon, realizing that close-quarters combat wasn’t working, switched tactics. From a distance, it opened its jaws wide and unleashed a searing white beam straight at Eureasa.

Her amber eyes widened as she tilted her head just enough to let the beam whiz past, narrowly missing her and exploding violently behind her. The sheer force of the blast left no doubt—if she had been hit, the outcome would have been catastrophic.

“Whoa! It can shoot beams now? That’s some serious firepower!”

Dani exclaimed while Joke narrowed his eyes.

“It’s not just their color. Even their combat tactics are the same?”

He muttered this observation while keeping a close eye on the dragons.
