The Uninvited Guest Part I

“It looks like the target we had our eyes on has already been intercepted, boss.”

A small voice, trying to sound gruff, spoke up, drawing the attention of a slender woman standing on the back of a dragon. Her face was calm, but her eyebrows rose slightly in surprise.

“Intercepted?”

The woman, her light brown hair catching the breeze, spoke in a tone tinged with annoyance. Her beautiful amber eyes narrowed as she gazed forward at the bright morning sky and the rapidly passing scenery.

“How is that even possible? No one should be able to reach this point so easily.”

She glanced around, surveying the area filled with dangers and monsters all exceeding level 100. It seemed unthinkable that anyone could have the audacity to fight their way past such a brutal gauntlet, especially so soon after the launch of this new world.

“Unless they have a Half that can fly too? But even then, they’d still have to get through all those white dragons…”
