Shattered Part II

"A weapon card that enhances the user’s strength?"

Joker muttered. He had never seen such a deck before. Normally, duel rules clearly stated that a summoner who failed to summon a Half onto the battlefield—or didn’t have one in their deck—would automatically forfeit the match. Yet this man wasn’t adhering to those rules at all. This was a style Joke had never encountered.

"What’s the matter, Joker? Not planning to use any cards to take me down?"

The man’s taunt was clear. Joke’s instincts screamed that any card he played would likely be countered without much effort. The way the man had absorbed Snowbelle’s beam was proof enough.

For now, Joke decided his best option was to rely on his two trusted Halves to probe the man’s deck and test his abilities.

"Heh! You’re more cautious than I expected, judging by your usual personality," the man laughed. "Fine. If you won’t take the initiative, I’ll start things off!"
