A Different Power Part I

“Stay behind me! Don’t show yourself!”

A loud shout echoed—a rare sight indeed to see the ever-calm dragon, Dandy, express herself like this.

Whether it was because the situation at hand was more critical than expected, or because they had yet to discern the opponent’s abilities, the white dragon had no choice but to spread a protective barrier to shield her master, as well as the little dragoness, who curled up and hid inside Joke’s shirt.

“N… it’s so cold! Ahh!”

And another grim reality that made the situation even worse was the current weather conditions.

Could this be called a snowstorm? It probably could. After all, at this moment, white puffs of snow were swirling wildly in every direction, making it nearly impossible to see anything. The skin began to sting and redden, while fingers slowly turned numb.

This was undeniably real snow…

No—scratch that! It had to be called a "blizzard!"
