Clearly Remembering It Wasn't Him

Upon reaching their destination, Amelia Davidson dragged Emma Hart to the networking event. 

As they entered, several men greeted Amelia. 

One of them remarked, "You're late, Amelia Davidson." 

Noticing the men's insinuating glances, Amelia understood their intentions. 

She picked up a pre-poured glass of wine, declaring, "Then, I shall drink this as my penalty!" 

With that, Amelia downed the glass of liquor in one gulp.

Emma, following closely behind Amelia, was shocked by the scene. 

Such settings were foreign to her, and she felt a bit intimidated. 

One of the men, noticing the vibrant Emma behind Amelia, came over with a glass of wine, attempting to introduce himself, "Amelia Davidson, won't you introduce us to this lady?"
