Snowfall

Considering it was still winter, even though March had not yet arrived, City A, despite being in the south, was quite cold. It rarely snowed here, but this year, large fluffy snowflakes were falling.

Emma Hart had grown up in a southern region and had never seen snow before, while Damien Sterling had studied abroad in a country where it snowed heavily every year, so snow was nothing new to him.

"Damien, it's snowing!" Emma exclaimed excitedly one morning, jumping out of bed and rushing to the window to see the snow-covered landscape.

"Have you never seen snow before?" Damien asked, rubbing his eyes groggily. The twins had kept them up late last night, so he was still feeling quite tired this morning.

"I grew up in Z City, where there's no central heating in winter and it never snows. I've only ever seen snow on TV," Emma explained, feeling a bit embarrassed.
