Back in reality, Jiho sat in her chair, leaning back slightly as she rubbed her forehead with a slight grimace. "Well, that pain was definitely not part of the plan," she muttered to herself, her voice a mix of excitement and exhaustion evident.

Internally, Jiho couldn't help but laugh, 'Hah, this old man's greediness couldn't even be hidden behind that ugly smile.' Despite her inner amusement, she maintained a calm exterior, forcing a smile as she listened to the village chief.

"Thank you, village chief. If it weren't for your help, I wouldn't know what to do," Jiho replied graciously, tilting her head slightly. Just then, an elderly man entered with a tray of tea, nodding respectfully at Jiho before placing the tea in front of her.
