Victoria tightened her grip on her dagger, she wanted to give in...she wanted to love him as he always proved to love her. But this was nothing but a quest for revenge, she had to kill him once and for all. 

But, why was it so hard? Why did tears fall down her cheeks as she was so close to finally killing him.

"One night," she said. "After one night with you, I'll make my decision."

The smile Alvar gave her was warm yet somehow predatory, "as you wish..." His arm snaked around her waist slowly. "...my goddess.”
