55. DEVON

Devon's POV

I heard the loud sound of the thunder and I suddenly thought of Olivia. I had sent Damian to see if she was at her parents place because I just wanted to know that she was safe and well treated. I don't want her to keep suffering whether I was going to accept her or not.

But deep down, I knew it was because I couldn't do without her presence. I wanted her around me, I wanted her in my castle. Her presence changed everything. And maybe I could understand a little of her motive. She must have felt like there was a chance she could finally feel fatherly love and she was going to do anything, also it didn't help that I had been very rude to her.

It had already begun to rain when Damian returned. He was drenched and I met him. I didn't care about how he looked, I just wanted to know how she was.

"Sir, she left the house since yesterday. She hasn't been seen at home."
