Silva sat in the doctor’s office, visibly uncomfortable. His nervousness was evident in his restless movements. Finally, he spoke, “So, doctor, how is Hamza?”

The doctor adjusted his glasses and replied, “How do I put this? Naturally, nothing is wrong with him physically. He’s just… not waking up.”

Silva’s confusion was written all over his face. The doctor elaborated, “Medically, we call it ‘medical trauma.’ It’s rare, but it happens when a person goes through a traumatic experience. Sometimes, it leads to a coma, or their body refuses to respond to treatment.”

Silva took a deep gulp, feeling the weight of the situation. His thoughts raced as he tried to process everything—the recent plane crash that claimed his friend’s life and now this. He struggled to keep his composure as he asked, “So, what can we do? Is there a way to help him?”
