Chapter 86: The Star of the Night
Bille Woodruff was having a hard time on set. Frustration was evident as he lashed out at the actors and actresses, which took a toll on the scene. “Hey! Can’t you understand what I’m saying? I need you to act naturally—don’t make it too cliché!” he shouted.
The actress in question felt wronged. Although she wasn’t a seasoned performer, the scene wasn’t difficult, and this was the fourth time she’d been called out. She sighed and tried to keep her cool. “Okay, Director. I understand.”
The set, usually lively, was gloomy. However, the staff, actors, and actresses all maintained their silence. They understood the pressure Bille was under, and since he wasn’t usually like this, they tried their best not to upset him further.
“Alright, that’s all for today. Pack up,” Director Bille said emotionlessly as he walked to his workspace to gather his belongings.
