"What do you mean? Sam?!” he protested.

"Are you nuts? He’s perverted, yes! But he’s straight as an arrow!” Kelvin explained

“That’s what you think. You really are far too trusting of people.” Zafira sighed

“Oh really? Enlighten me.”

“Your friend Sam is a murderer,” Zafira signed yet again.

Sam? A murderer?

Something does not add up.

Kelvin knew in his gut that Sam was a good person, but still, Zafira had never been wrong before.

There must be some kind of explanation to this.

As they talked, they barely noticed the returning footsteps.

"I see you didn’t save my seat, Kelvin,” Sam said, smiling at Zafira.

Zafira stood. “Oh, I’m sorry! Take it back, or would you rather sit in a chair in one of the VIP rooms? I’ll make it worth your while.” she said, invitingly.

“Lead the way!” Sam said with enthusiasm.

“Wait!” Kelvin interrupted. “Before you go, could I talk to you outside for a moment?”

“Now?” Sam replied. “Can't it wait?”
