Walter turned to see Rayne give the three new-comers, Tim, Frank and Cassandra, a smile.
It was not a tight smile; it was rather polite, but Rayne had certainly smiled a lot better at Walter than he seemed to deign to do to the three who had just arrived.
"We will just follow along," Frank, the tallest of the three said, "Think of us as security, if you will."
That was odd, Sasha thought.
Why did they need security inside the hotel. They were not even at the actual event. They were just making preparations. Maybe the three would help with the security procedures while the décor was set up?
Was that it?
It made no sense for the three to tail them around for a whole month like Frank had just told them.
Walter frowned, "Security?"
Frank turned to him with a helpless smile, "Yes. Mr. Slader sent us to help the Dearcrofts with anything they might need with regard to security and such other things."
