Bruce shrugged before pulling a chair toward him and sitting down.
"I'm not sure. The mission went well yesterday… There is definitely a lot of things Adonis will want Chairman Kane to know about!"
Clara nodded, "I see. So he will tell us the details himself?"
"Yes," A large sigh escaped Bruce without his own realization.
The young heiress frowned, her brooch glimmering in the sunlight, "You okay, Bruce?"
"Yes, I-" He sighed again, putting the paper containing Clara's schedule back down on the desk and slowly pushing it toward her, "I'm fine I just-"
Clara had her eyebrows raised.
Bruce looked at her straight in the eye, "What we can deduce from what we heard yesterday, Clara… We do not know for sure, but Adonis is adamant that it is true I-"
Clara was giving him all of her attention, wondering at Bruce's worried and anxious tone.
"It," Bruce shook his head, "It changes everything."
Clara frowned at that.
