"Sir!" A top agent had knocked on Adonis' door a few minutes ago. Now, permitted inside, he looked rather anxious and like he was about to faint.
Adonis was looking up at him, a hand holding the reports he was reading, "Yes?"
"Sir, I have just been informed of some news…"
Adonis slowly let his report lie flat on the desk, looking up at the top agent who had come in to inform him of something.
"Go on."
"L- Lie-," The man stuttered, "The Lieself's Mafia leader is dead."
Adonis raised an eyebrow, "I see."
The top agent was panting hard.
A few seconds passed in silence.
Sensing that the top agent was not leaving the room, Adonis opened his mouth once more and spoke, "Well, we cannot say we did not expect as much."
The top agent looked lost, "S- Sir?"
"The man drank more than the money in his bank account allowed," Adonis said calmly, his low voice quieter than normal, "This was bound to happen of course."
