Chapter 146

Enies Lobby is primarily divided into three distinct sections. Positioned at the rear is the Justice Tower, serving as the headquarters for CP9, a specialized agency operating under the world government. Inside the Justice Tower lies a labyrinthine interior, making it challenging to navigate without frequent visits.

At present, within the chief's office of CP9, Spandam, the Chief of CP9, sits behind his desk with a malevolent grin, legs crossed. Lying before his desk is a burly man—Franky, the individual sought by everyone in the Straw Hat Pirates.

"Such reliable subordinates to gift me with such a prize!" Spandam exclaimed while glaring at Franky, a mix of anger and delight evident in his expression.

Eight years prior, Franky's powerful blow had inflicted a severe facial injury on Spandam, necessitating the use of a special steel mask to hold his bones in place. While Spandam's original appearance was not particularly attractive, it was at least average. Now, he had transformed into a masked figure, perceived as a monstrosity by others—all courtesy of Franky.

Reveling in the moment, the man who had shocked him so profoundly, now labeled as "Criminal," lay before him. Spandam relished the opportunity to torture him mercilessly.

The office boasted sofas aligned against its walls, where seven individuals—six men and one woman, the official members of CP9—were seated.

Leaving his desk, Spandam approached Franky sprawled at his feet and let out a nearly perverse laugh. "Hahahaha!"

Seizing Franky's hair, he forced his face upwards, staring at him with eyes brimming with hateful madness. "You Bastard! Finally, you've fallen into my grasp! Hahaha!"

In a defiant gesture, Franky spat out a wad of thick phlegm at Spandam, catching him off guard. Reacting swiftly, Spandam tried to avoid it, his own cohorts visibly disturbed by the act.

"Ah! I'll kill you!" Spandam erupted in response to Franky's provocation, launching into a relentless series of stomps upon Franky's head, channeling his pent-up rage.

Lucci interjected coldly, "If you kill him, the whereabouts of the Pluton blueprint will vanish."

Exhausted and breathless, Spandam halted his assault, experiencing a sudden chilling sensation. Glancing outside, he was alarmed to find the sea frozen. "What's happening? Why has the sea suddenly frozen?"

As the lone female within CP9, Kalifa promptly approached the window to investigate. Her countenance immediately shifted to one of shock.

"What's happening?" inquired Jabra, his tone tinged with suspicion.

Turning from the window to face her CP9 companions, Kalifa spoke in a hushed tone, "The entire sea has frozen. It must be the arrival of that individual…"

"Why would Marine Admiral Aokiji come here?" Lucci questioned, his voice deep with perplexity.

Happily boasting, Spandam chimed in, "Hahaha! It's all for my benefit, of course! Didn't you know? Aokiji granted me access to a Buster Call Den Den Mushi! Do you comprehend the significance of that?"

Jabra rose in astonishment, exclaiming, "Surely, he didn't authorize such an extreme measure for you!"

Lucci, while considering Marine Admirals as allies of CP9, found such unexpected actions disconcerting.

Amidst the conversation, a hurried ring emitted from the Den Den Mushi.

"It's Judge Baskerville. What does he require?" Spandam muttered in discontent upon seeing the Den Den Mushi's display.

Answering the call, before Spandam could query, Baskerville urgently exclaimed, "Hurry! Come to this island for a rescue!"

CP9 members exchanged bewildered glances.

Spandam, incensed, retorted, "Ridiculous! This is Enies Lobby! With Admiral Aokiji's presence, who would foolishly cause trouble here?"

"No, no! They came after Franky. They demanded we give him the criminal… No, they've invaded!" The Den Den Mushi abruptly cut off with a panicked voice.

"It appears something bad has occurred," Blueno remarked.

"I'll investigate!" Kaku declared, preparing to depart.

"Hold on! You've just returned from a mission; you should rest. Allow me to go instead," interjected Jabra, then swiftly leaped out of the window.

Utilizing Geppo, he swiftly arrived at Enies Lobby's main island. However, what greeted him astonished even further.

Enies Lobby lay in ruins!

Yet, the true shock came from the culprits—Enies Lobby's Giant guards, Oimo and Kashi. Jabra witnessed them wrecking the buildings!

Infuriated, Jabra shouted, "Halt, you two!"

Oimo and Kashi turned, their rage palpable. "It's Jabra from CP9! We'll crush you traitors!"

Two Giants simultaneously attacked the building…

"Idiot!" Jabra swiftly ascended, attempting to evade their assault. But just as he about dodge suddenly a thunder struck, he was immobilized.

Oimo's club struck heavily, leaving Jabra stunned and unable to use Soru, a technique he usually relied upon. Jabra employ Tekkai to defend himself, Jabra realized the Giants' strength was beyond his expectation.

Logan's expression shifted oddly. He summoned the Clow Power Card, directing it toward Oimo.

Boom! The impact was powerful!

When the debris cleared, Jabra lay unconscious, his body likely bearing multiple fractures. Oimo, unsatisfied, grabbed Jabra and flung him into the air, shouting, 

"Giant Home Run!"

With a heavy swing, Jabra disappeared into the sky.
