Library Tour, Awakening My Mana

After Snape had left is spent the next ten to twenty minutes looking for the main hall where I could get some food. I had to stop and ask students multiple times which was a bit embarrassing when both males and females stopped to look at me with a bit of a blush, even when I'm wearing clothes.

It was awkward the first few times, especially when it came to the women who gave me some very interested looks... I found myself flustered long before I got to the main hall and by the time I had gotten there I was practically beat red as a lot of eyes within the hall shifted to me.

'I never bloody knew that this is what it's like to have everyone look at you... It's very nerve-racking.'

[Welcome to the life of celebrities.]

'Don't like it, feels as if they are watching my every move for a small mistake or imperfection.'

[Oh come now sister, they are just looking at you because you are the most gorgeous woman they have ever met.]

'That doesn't make me feel better.'

[Wasn't meant to. He he. Oh look, there is an empty spot over there in the Gryffindor section.]

I looked over to the area my sis indicated. The table was practically packed to the brim with people laughing, talking and playing pranks on each other as they sat at the currently empty long tables. I began to walk over to the spot my sis indicated, drawing some eyes as I did so before everyone that was staring before slowly went back to what they were doing before.

'Finally they stopped staring... Even the teachers were doing it for a time there.'

[You are someone strange and you are abnormally beautiful, so a lot of people are interested in you or are wary of you. I suggest you get what you want done whilst you are here but leave as quickly as possible, Dumbledore being the way he is, he's probably scheming up something.]

'Good advice I must achieve my mana awakening today!'

The breakfast was absolutely delicious with all sorts of breakfast meats and pastries. Needless to say I was full, fuller than I've ever been and just as content. I digress however, as now I was walking towards my escorts for the day who stood at the front entrance of the Library.

Harry was dressed in a rather plain Gryffindor school uniform, his glasses framing his greyish-blue eyes with the rather red-looking lightning bolt scar in the centre of his forehead.

Professor McGonagall was dressed in her usual black and purple robes with a jumble of necklaces, her pointy witch hat somewhat sitting at an angle on her head as her piercing eyes scanned me from head to toe. It frankly sent shivers down my back a little, as if I was being eyed by a tiger or something.

'Remind me never to piss her off'

[Adding that to memos you'll forget a minute later.]

'Hey, will not!'

Despite my miniature argument with my sister I still moved my eyes over to Hermione who looked exactly like the movies portrayed her, her hair billowing out slightly into her Gryffindor robes that looked somewhat frayed and loose on her figure. She stared towards me with an analysing gaze, her eyes scanning over my body for a while before eventually stopping at my breasts for several seconds. Quickly after she noticed she stopped she blushed ever so slightly before looking away from me towards the library to her right.

[Hello, Hello, Hello]

'Enough of that! Stop acting like a pig...'

[Am not! She was checking you out!]

'No she wasn't! I wouldn't be interested anyway, she's like 16 for god's sake!'

[Fair point, sorry sis...]

'It's fine, just please calm down.'

"So you are Emelia?"

McGonagall's voice was full of vigour and wisdom as she spoke, her tone oozing with intrigue as she stared me right in the eyes.

"Yes i am Emelia, Emelia Lionheart."

I thrust my right hand out for a handshake, hoping that i could at least act cordially with some of the people in the Harry Potter story. Deftly the professor took my hand loosely and shook it before receding her hand.

"I'm Hermione, not that it matters. Let us deal with the matters at hand."

My eyebrows rose a little in silent surprise at her attitude. This was interrupted however when Harry waved slightly off to the side.

"Hello Harry, nice to see you."

He smiled lightly in response.

"Nice to see you, are you okay after getting hit was the death curse yesterday?"

A flicker of worry crossed his face as I also observed doubt cross both Hermione and the Professor's faces.

"Yes I am fine, the stone was able to dampen a good portion of the curse I am also lucky that I have such a strong body otherwise I would have surely perished very quickly in that fight."

He nodded along with me before I saw both Hermione and the Professor getting a little antsy just standing at the entrance to the library.

"Haha, anyway let us go into the library and I must apologise again for interrupting all of your days just so you can follow me around a library."

They all smiled slightly after i said that, my mind slightly relaxing as they did so.

'Let's hope that this is quick.'

[You can only hope.]

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I sat at a table with a book in hand, the book was rather simple, talking about different spells and their requirements on verbiage, wand movements and so on. It was honestly very boring, my eyes drooped every now and again, the only thing keeping me awake being the ever vigorous Hermione and her incessant flipping of pages.

"Huu, i suppose lets give it a shot, what could go wrong?"

[This was when she knew she f-]

'Quiet!'

[Awww.]

"What are you going to try Emelia?"

Hermione placed her bookmark into her book before placing it onto the table her eyes trained straight at me. 'God she looks so serious, she needs a chill pill I swear.'

"I am going to try and cast one of these spells."

Her eyes widened before a small smile escaped the usually stony façade she gave off.

"You can't cast magic without a wand silly, here you can use mine if you want."

She slid her wand over the table as I stared at her small smile.

[She's 16 Sis...]

'I bloody well know okay! I just found it cute is all.'

My cheeks grew a little red as I admitted that to my sister, my face turning to the side for a moment in embarrassment and shame.

'I apologise for earlier, I shouldn't have been as harsh.'

[It is fine sis, It's what siblings do.]

"Thanks Hermione, I'll try without one first just to see if its possible though."

A small pout took over where the smile slipped through earlier, her eyes somewhat scowling towards me.

"Fine, you want to fail, fine by me. Hmph."

She looked away petulantly as I raised my hand up in the air trying my best to focus on the MP bar on my status board. 'My magic, my magic? Where could it be, maybe in the stomach?' Just as I finished the thought I felt a fuzzy warmth circulate through my abdomen, the fuzziness slowly becoming like a warm liquid that I felt I had complete control of.

'This is so cool'

With my right hand raised the magic slowly flowed into my hand, reaching my fingertips within seconds as my eyes suddenly opened and i spoke.

{Accio Pen}

A pen from halfway across the room flew from its stagnant position on a book shelf straight into my hands, my magic receding from the pen as it did so, the little magic left over pouring back into my mana reserves.

'Dayum!'

"What?"
