The suffocating insecurity

Needing a distraction from the swirling anxieties within him, Julian scanned the room. His gaze landed on Dexter, the center of a jovial group of guests, with Silas standing steadfastly beside him. Shrugging off his unease, Julian made his way over to them.

"Julian! Great to see you made it," Dexter boomed, pulling him into a hearty embrace. "Your father mentioned you went to the city to fetch some supplies for the factory. I was afraid you wouldn't be able to attend the party tonight."

"How could I miss the party?" Julian beamed. "It's to celebrate your victory. You crossed another milestone. We're all incredibly proud to have such a phenomenal lawyer among us."

Dexter's booming laughter filled the air. "You're learning to sweet talk, aren't you?" He playfully thumped Julian on the back. "But seriously, this win wasn't just mine. Silas's contributions played a crucial role."
