Level Two!

Chima had many questions like, why was she she reversed by 5 levels instead of 2?

Why did she fall from the ceiling in layer 2 instead of being transported directly like the others?

She also needed to do some research on the new treasures she had gotten from layer 2.

All of those she would do after the day had ended.

Chima sighed exasperatingly, even after death and the whole world change, she still had to do homework.

After choosing her theme and layer, it was time for level two.

Chima expected to fall from the sky again but was surprised when she was instantly transported immediately after she had made her choice.

As Chima arrived she fell forward and vomited what eerie meal she had had at the police station.

Transporting for real was really awful.

She felt like all her body parts and organs had been displaced and placed where they should not be.

Like her stomach which she felt was in her chest.

It took some long moments before she got over the feeling and moved on.

She would need some time to get used to it plus she had seen other players been transported and not show any visible reaction.

They had probably been transported a quadrillion times but if they could do it so could she!

Luck was temporarily on her side as she was transported very close to a fight.

She quickly ducked behind a mini hill as a stray ray came at her.

Chima looked around her. The place looked like a large rain forest, the forest grounds were marshy and there were tall rain trees everywhere.

There was no sun in the sky yet the whole place was mediumly lighted, the sky was wholly dark though with just a huge rectangular box with 19:08:58 in red on it counting backwards.

The rules here were the same but the difficulties naturally higher since it was level two.

Chima braced up herself and readied her mech blaster.

'Time to kick some sorry butt!!'

"Haha!" As soon as the laughter came out of her mouth.

Something roared and a giant rock came hurling at the exact spot where she situated.

'Bam!!'

'Crack!!'

"Wha?!"

The two players, one, a brute the other, tiny looked towards the area where the sound was heard.

"What the heck was that?"

In a flash, Chima was back where she started. The large black heptagon shaped box.

She instantly recognised the place and her eyes were widened in shock.

"....!!!"

"Aaaaaaarg!!"

She screamed in distress.

"After all that!!"

All her 'hard work'...Gone down the drain like it was nothing.....

Chima stayed in that state for a while then shook her head.

This wasn't how Kiran behaved...No..She'd get up as soon as she'd fallen and start all over again.

She took a deep breath with a new determination and a rare fire in her eyes.

She glanced at the big screen above before saying.

"Restart!"

Chima this time was transported to a tube like the former one that covered her before.

The glass on the tube wasn't transparent but was all black.

A screen appeared on the glass in front of her.

After choosing the gear and armour she wanted, she went on to the layer and chose layer 2.

"Player 6212 will restart the ongoing level 1, layer 2 game in 3... 2..1."

Chima thankfully didn't fall from the sky again but transported.

This time she was extremely meticulous in her every move and ducked as soon as she landed.

A small throw knife flew where her head would be if she were standing.

She turned to see the person who threw it and just in time saw the lower half of a person disappearing.

'Great, this one's got invisibility.'

She activated the power in her eyes and saw some areas around her distorting then quickly turning back to normal.

It was as if the person was running.

Chima tried to focus on the distorted areas she was seeing but she couldn't keep up and the figure disappeared.

Chima looked around her suspiciously as she turned on her mech blasted. She couldn't hear any footsteps or movements around her even as she listened amidst the loud 'booms!' and 'clangs' of distant fighting.

Chima suddenly heard a sharp movement behind her and turned with her gun ready to blast that person away.

But she was too sloppy and before she knew it, the person knotted their arms around her neck tightly.

As the same Chima felt the skin on her neck tearing.

The psycho was stabbing her with one of their poison knives!

This wasn't the first time it had happened to Kiran.

Chima's attacker was one of Kiran's competitor.

Chima felt the skin on her head tighten and knew her face was blue right now.

She felt a dry cold sensation spreading from her neck and knew she had to act fast before she'd be restarted.

She got an idea. It was a good thing she was taller in this life.

She suddenly knelt and rolled forward throwing the player off her back.

She stood up quickly and before the other could stand up she kicked them in the stomach and pointed her blaster at the player.

'Vuuum!'

She couldn't tell if the blaster met anyone because the figure was still invisible and she hadn't heard any sound of pain.

Even the ray from the blaster hadn't broken through the player's force field meaning it was a high level player obviously.

Chima looked around suspiciously expecting the player to spring up on her anytime.

"Player 6001 eliminated."

That did it.

But Chima didn't exactly know if that was truly the player's number but either ways she didn't feel any presence around her.

Chima heard some noises behind, she turned and found some targeting her.

These were all below her level.

Some people just love courting death, right?

She activated her blaster and thought, 'Time to eliminate some sorry losers.'
