It has been thirty minutes now and Zach and the Blazing Stallion have really started to bare their fangs at each other after the two haven't reached an agreement where both parties have already arrived to the point of no return.
Looking at the situation of the place right now, the surrounding area has already been burned seeing blue flames everywhere, and when you looked closely at it, the Blazing Stallion could be found in the center neighing in pain as he looked everywhere while breathing fire from his mouth following the sound of the gunshot that was coming everywhere.
Meanwhile, Zach could be found holding War Pistols in his hands while circling the Blazing Stallion not wanting to let escape as he takes advantage of the sudden increase of his Agility after using the ultra-rare item Gem of Agility. His movement was so fast that just before the Blazing Stallion would look in his direction, he had already gone to the next and fired his weapon once more.
Suddenly, the Blazing Stallion moved like he teleported from the place however, Zach immediately caught up to him even without using Blink as he followed through the tracks it left on the ground seeing the blue flame away from the place. Zach guessed that it must be one of its skills 'Flashfire' which he felt quite interesting.
"Though you are a little stronger than me, it would be futile if you can't catch me. So, who's running now? Haha." Zach mocked while he continued following the Blazing Stallion. He even already changed several War Pistols as they overheated immediately as he didn't want to give the Blazing Stallion a chance to recover and wanted to make it tired.
On the other hand, the Blazing Stallion was already on the verge of collapsing after being shot by a number of bullets. Though it couldn't penetrate his skin and only gave a little damage, the impact it did started to pile up from his body and started to hurt while some have even slowly given him injuries.
"Curse you, Human!!" The Blazing Stallion cursed while running as he had no choice. Just like what Zach said, the speed he had right now was something he could not fathom and the only he could do was leave the place and hope that Zach would get tired and stop following him. It hurts his pride to run away from him despite being a gold-class beast but he can't do anything at the moment and just let himself be pushed around by a human like him.
Seeing the determination of the Blazing Stallion to leave the place, Zach couldn't help but remember that this had already happened in the past however unlike before when he was the one running, he was now the one chasing. He then just thinks that he needs to end it immediately since he can still feel tired like any other human.
…..Bang…..
…..Bang…..
Zach used Blink to get ahead and started firing once again but this time, he tried to hit its legs as possible wanting to wear them down so that he would get exhausted since he also knew that the Blazing Stallion must also be nearing his limit after seeing that the blue flame phantom that was covering his body was already gone and that his whole body was now completely exposed.
Seeing Zach, the Blazing Stallion used one of his skills the Blazing Breath in his direction however, he immediately regretted what he did after seeing a ball coming towards him and it exploded immediately after coming into contact with his flame which completely caught him off guard.
…..Boom…..
…..Bang...
…..Bang...
After seeing that it exploded just in time, Zach immediately bombarded the Blazing Stallion with gunshots not wanting to let the opportunity escape all the while throwing several Fire and Ice Bombs towards his direction. He did not even care if it died as he was more excited instead on what items it would drop.
"H-Human! S-Stop it! I-I yield! Please don't kill me!"
Suddenly, Zach heard the Blazing Stallion's voice coming from the smoke or mist that was created after several bombs had exploded however, he didn't fall for it as he continued bombarding him again no longer trusting the words of any beasts after being taken advantage of just a while back.
"H-H-Human! Stop! I-I'm d-dying."
When Zach heard its voice this time, he finally put a stop to what he was doing but he didn't immediately go towards the place where the Blazing Stallion was as he waited for the smoke or mist to clear. Not long after that, he then finally saw it lying on the ground breathing heavily with its eyes half closed.
The Blazing Stallion was pretty much in a bad state seeing its body full of burns and injury added by some of it being frozen. The Fire and Ice Bomb must have really taken quite damage to him as Zach could see that he was no longer moving and just focused on breathing.
"That's what you get by betraying my trust." Zach then just said before firing a shot toward the Blazing Stallion while walking closer to it.
On the other hand, the Blazing Stallion no longer has the strength to neigh in pain as he knows that all of this happened because of what he did. His greed and underestimation of Zach was the reason why he was like this and he had no excuse for that. He just hoped that he could still be talked to and beg not to kill him.
"You might not know this since you're a beast but I am very excited right now as to what kind of items you dropped when you die. A gold-class beast, you should probably drop epic items, right?" Zach said while looking at the Blazing Stallion like a treasure chest ready for him to open.
"P-Please, d-don't kill me. I-I'm willing to be your subordinate now. J-Just please don't kill me." The Blazing Stallion pleaded painfully as he could see that Zach really had now decided to kill him. He knew that he was no longer in a situation where he could suggest something else as the only thing that might probably save him now was to accept Zach's offer before that is to be contracted with him. He just hoped that it was still on the table despite the things that he did to him a while back.
"Too late." Zach said as he no longer had any use for him aside from the items that he would get when he killed him. He then just took out a bunch of Fire Bombs ready to end the first-ever gold-class monster he had encountered. Though it's a shame, he knew that it needed to be done.
"I-I know a lot of things and I will tell you everything that I know especially the information that I have in this sanctuary." The Blazing Stallion was already scared out of hell after seeing the ball in Zach's hands and that he was already at his end, but he couldn't just die like this as he still had a great goal to achieve so he immediately pleaded once more and take everything that he had left.
Hearing this, Zach stopped what he was just about to do as he looked into the Blazing Stallion's eyes. In fact, there are two ways to use the Pet Contract Scroll, the first one was to get familiar with the beast and ask their permission if they wanted to be his contracted pet. If the beasts accept, a 100 % chance that it was a success just like what happened when he used them on Adam and Eve.
On the other hand, the second method is to force the beast to enter into a contract by beating them and leaving them no choice but to enter the contract. This was the case when he got Ursa and Ursus back in Greenland. Right now, he could actually make the Blazing Stallion his pet right away but he suddenly started hesitating as the allure of looting the items it would drop was very tempting.
"Sigh. Give me a drop of your blood. If you just accepted my offer before, you would have not suffered like this." Not before long, Zach finally decided however, he knew very well that if not for him taking the Gem of Agility to him, he was sure that everything that happened right now would be reversed so it can be said that the one who saved him was also the one who wanted to harm him.
Zach then just took out a Contract Pet Scroll and put a single drop of his blood on it before giving it to the Blazing Stallion. After that, he then saw it immediately drop his blood on the scroll as well. Following this, the Contract Pet Scroll suddenly lightened up before a streak of light was shot towards both their heads.
Zach was very familiar with it after seeing the crystal mark on the Blazing Stallion's head and the soul imprint left on his consciousness. Since it was finally over, he then just let himself fall on the ground to have a rest while looking at the beautiful sky of the night.
"Let's call you Diablo from now on." Zach said before looking at the status of the Blazing Stallion as he wanted to see its stats and see how it was different from other beasts or monsters.

On the other hand, the Blazing Stallion just stayed where he was and started to heal himself after using the Scorching Heal to himself. He had already become a pet of Zach and he could tell that he could no longer go against him as there was a power that was preventing him from doing anything towards his master however, it was already good enough for him knowing that he was still alive.
When midnight came, Zach could now be found riding on Blazing Stallion as they headed back towards the Spirit Grassland Shelter after thinking that Alisha and the others must have already been worrying about him. With their speed, they only took some time before they arrived just outside the shelter, and they saw the survivors looking at them with caution.
"Don't be alarmed, everyone. The Blazing Stallion is now my contracted pet." Zach immediately said to calm everyone after seeing them taking their items out while shaking as they looked at the Blazing Stallion in great fear.
"Alisha. Though I didn't kill it, I managed to tame it. Well, it's nice meeting you all but sadly, I need to go now. If fate allows, let us meet once again. Take these, this will be my gift to all of you. Goodbye, everyone." Zach said as it was now time to leave.
On the other hand, Diablo immediately does the job as it stands up and neigh before leaving the shelter heading towards the direction in which Zach had told him to go, and in just a second, their shadow can no longer be found leaving all the survivors surprised by what just happened.
"T-Thank you, Zach." Alisha muttered as she looked at the direction they headed promising that when they got stronger enough, they would also venture out and see the shelter he came from wanting to meet him once again.
While Alisha was daydreaming, Binsa and the other survivors' eyes were all glued on the items that Zach had given them because aside from the Bronze Cores that were lying on the ground, there were several items mixed in them and all of them were classified as rare. On that night, Alisha and the others have greatly printed Zach's name on their minds promising to themselves that they won't forget about him.
Meanwhile, Zach could be found smiling while on Diablo's back. Riding on him felt a little different from Adam and Eve because aside from the fact that he was faster, there's a comfort that he didn't feel while he's riding the latter which is probably because dogs weren't used as mounts even before, unlike horses.
"Let's get there before sunrise, Diablo." Zach said as he could no longer wait to see Zoey and the rest so he could apologize after being away for so long without properly giving a particular time to get back. He was also worried about Ethan and the rest whom he left to attract the attention of silver silver-class Phantom Wolf.
Hearing this, Diablo neighed in response as he ran without stopping leaving traces of his blue flame coming from his heels. Being a gold-class beast, his presence kind of scared all the beasts around which only made their journey smooth and without any accident.
