Chapter 85 - Shelter Auction Building
Not before long, Zach, Ethan, and the other Shelter Owners could now be found lining up as they all looked at Derek and his fifty Evolvers who could only leave bitterly on the periphery of Eden after the meeting was over.
"Is it really okay to just let them go like this?" Ethan suddenly asked as he was worried that the government might treat them as criminals from now on after disobeying the order. He actually thought of killing them all so that they couldn't get the news back to where the government is and let them think that something just happened to them on the way knowing that Earth had also evolved where monsters and beasts were lurking somewhere.
"It's not, but it's better to let ourselves known to firm our position." Zach said as he understood Ethan's concern as the content of the meeting was just simple. He wanted Derek to tell the government that Eden would now become independent from any national power and that we should no longer concerned with our own interests. So, he let them go for now.
"As this had already happened here, the governments of other countries must have also been on the move. It's now time to start solidifying our position." Zach said after thinking about the branches of Eden in other countries. He then just thought of the need to head out and hunt silver-class monsters or beasts to gather as many Rare Job Class Scrolls as possible to strengthen the Rangers.
"Ethan, gather all the Rangers. It's now time to change all their gears to rare class." Zach then ordered before he immediately headed back since time was pressing. He wanted everyone to hunt as efficiently as possible and become stronger so that when the time came, they could all protect Eden from other powers that wanted to harm it.
Hearing this, Ethan and the other shelter owners were completely surprised by this sudden order since he was not talking about a particular number of Rangers but all of them. Gearing them all up with rare items was quite an eye-opener, but knowing Zach, they all thought that he was not fond of making jokes, so they immediately moved and gathered up all the Rangers under them.
For the following hours, Zach listed all the rare items that he got and had all the shelter owners distribute the information. He then told them to let the Rangers under them list all the items that they wanted among the rare items that he had so that the distribution, later on, would be well-organized.
It took everyone to change all their gears right before sunset as they were given the order to move back to their respective shelter and wait for further instruction however, their gratefulness and respect for Zach had already reached their peak, and everyone had promised to obey all of his commands no matter what it is.
On the other hand, Zach ordered the shelter owners to come to the meeting room again and have a brief discussion which immediately ended as Zach only asked them questions before giving the remaining bronze shelters the number of Bronze Cores that they needed so they could evolve their shelter to silver class.
Following that, each and everything then headed back to their post as even Zach left Earth and went back to the Undead Enclave Shelter as he also had something to do. After greeting everyone inside, he immediately went to the Shelter's Core as he thought that there was no need to hold back now anymore.

"Yes." Zach answered without hesitation and after some time, he then heard that it had successfully evolved, so he immediately opened up its status window to see if there were changes upon becoming a gold-class shelter.

Looking at its status, Zach immediately skimmed through the Shelter Auction Building from which he learned that just like what its name implies, it is a place where we can put items that we want to be auctioned however, there was a catch, and that is every gold class shelter can participate in the auction.
Zach doubted that there was another gold-class shelter out there, so it made him excited as there was something more of the Shelter Auction Building, and that is, it would automatically put ten items to be auctioned every first day of the month. Knowing all of these, his excitement was completely obvious since with his infinite wealth, he could monopolize all the items that would be auctioned if he wanted to.
After that, Zach immediately went to the Shelter Simulation to see where the Auction Building was located, and from there, he could already see many Rangers checking the building out upon seeing dots surrounding it. He then just decided to move it later when everyone was resting, so he put out the Shelter Core's status window and proceeded to the status window of his house.
Without any second thoughts, Zach proceeded to evolve the house which cost him a lot of Evolution Coins but it was all worth it upon seeing the house have a complete makeover as the wooden walls before had changed to stone or more like cement from which not long after that, the door of the place suddenly opened which Sophia, Eun Ae, Zoey, and Shiela could be found looking at him wanting to know what he just did.
Seeing their excitement, Zach then just told them that he evolved the shelter to gold class and that he evolved the house afterward. As they were completely curious about the house, everyone then left the room as they roamed the house trying to see the changes as they were all in Zach's room when the evolution had happened.
Zach's 10-star two-story wooden house has changed to a 10-star three-story house after evolving it to its highest possible rating. The house had a complete makeover. The first floor still consists of the living room, dining room, and kitchen however it has become much bigger and more luxurious than before.
On the other hand, the second floor still consists of Zach's room which has become bigger so that ten people might be able to sleep comfortably on the bed. However, there could now be found two other empty rooms and the room from which the Shelter's Core was placed.
The third floor, on the other hand, was completely empty, and no one knew the purpose of the place, so they just let it pass for now after Zach said that he wanted to go out to announce to everyone what just happened and also because he wanted to see the Auction Building. With that, Zoey and the others were left to decorate the room as it became empty or dull, even with the decorations they had placed before.
After heading out, Zach saw Rangers in the distance looking at his house with their expression telling him that they were all surprised to see it. He then just walked to them and immediately told them that he just evolved the shelter to gold class and that if they had Evolution Coins, they could now also evolve their house to a stone one like him.
Hearing Zach's announcement, everyone was completely delighted, and they immediately headed back to their houses to see if it was really the case. However, some continued to stay as they followed Zach toward the Auction Building that had appeared out of nowhere.
Entering inside, Zach saw that he just got a Déjà vu after seeing a person inside who had the same appearance as Pedro back in the Shelter Store all the while having many shelves in the building from which there could be found ten items placed on them with a number under the place they were displayed that probably shows the current bid that it had.
"Welcome to the Auction Building, Owner. How can I assist you today?" The man greeted Zach after seeing him inside the building.
Zach then just greeted him as he asked where to go in order to evolve the place just like what he did to the Shelter Store and the man immediately guided him to a place. He was no longer surprised by it, so he immediately upgraded the place to its highest possible rating and looked at its status window.

Following that, the Auction Building shook a little and not before long, they saw how the place had changed which greatly surprised the Rangers around upon seeing how luxurious and big it had become however, unlike them, Zach was already looking at the items on the shelves to see if there were any good ones in them.

Zach skimmed all the items and the smile on his face couldn't be hidden as aside from the Bone Dagger, all other items were great so he immediately bid 100,000 Evolution Coins for each item even the Bone Dagger since it was a dagger that had + 10 additional power compared to the normally additional + 8.
Zach felt bad after not seeing a buyout price so he could immediately have them all but he still thought that a week would just pass like nothing, so he then left the place leaving all the surprised Rangers, and headed back to his newly evolved house wanting to arrange the vacant rooms of the house.
