Chapter 23 - Confession & Stalkers, Part 2

Sora stayed still as the audience slowly but surely started clapping as more people came after hearing the song and stayed til the end as Sora stood up straight the announcer walked up to Sora with poster in hand.

"Wow.. I've heard a lot of songs but I have never heard a song that beautiful and that deep, I think we can all say for sure that, Sora Higurashi, You are the winner of this poster! And to help you with your love life, A thornless rose" The announcer and a staff member puts the poster in a protective covering as he gives the poster and the rose to Sora and shook his hand.

Sora thanked the announcer as he gave back the mic and earpiece as he walked down the stage and took Midoriya's hand as they ran off, Mina and the group still following them.

Sora and Midoriya holding hands walking towards Midoriya's house as Sora puts the rose behind Midoriya's ear, making Midoriya even more flustered but sadly he could cover his face this time since He was holding the poster.

"Did you like it?"

"Huh..? Sorry, what was that..? Midoriya said as he got pulled out of his thoughts.

"The song, Did you like it?"

"I.. uh.. yeah.. I did, It was really sweet.." Midoriya said as he remembers what Sora said on stage, Sora was going to confess, He was about to confess, They soon arrived infront of Midoriya's house.

Midoriya was looking down at the ground, Hoping Sora wouldn't see his clearly blushing face as Sora used his free hand to lift his head up to look at him, Midoriya wasn't sure what to do, He wasn't sure if Sora was going to confess or not, He started overthinking to the point that he didn't even realize that he was crying.

"Your crying.. I don't like seeing you crying.." Sora let's go out of his hand and cupped Midoriya's face as he wiped his tears away.

"S- sorry.. oh god.. I.. My mind kept going back to what you said earlier.. about.. y- you.. y'know.." Midoriya thought of saying it out loud as he looked away.

"I- it's to embarrassing to say out loud..!" Midoriya said as he looked at Sora who was also blushing.

Sora smiled and pulled Midoriya closer, pulling him into hug as he whispered to his ear in a serious tone.

"Izuku, I like you more than just friends.. so can I have you to myself from now on?" Sora said as he hugged Midoriya tightly as he slowly let go as he looked at Midoriya.

"... You jerk..! Y- you.. you.. already know.. how I feel.." Midoriya said as he wrapped his arms around Sora's neck as he pulled him closer.

"Heh.. I wanted to hear it come from you.. I wanted to be a bit mean and make you say it~" Sora wrapped his arms around Midoriya's waist, pulling him closer.

Sora and Midoriya's faces were close, they could feel each other's breath, they were going to kiss, just as they were going to kiss.

"AH!"

Sora and Midoriya heard a scream of a familiar voice accompanied with barking from a dog, They turned away from each other and sees a dog chasing someone, and that someone was...

Mina, She was running away from a dog as she climbed a tree nearby as the dog goes after a bit.

"Phew.. thank goodness for this tree.." Mina said as she realized that she exposed herself as she slowly turned to look at Sora and Midoriya. "..This is just a dream..?"

"Mina, How long have you been there?" Sora said as Midoriya became embarrassed and hid his face by hugging Sora, burying his face in Sora's chest.

"Uh.. just now..?"

"Mina Ashido"

"Uh.. since school..?"

Sora sighed and closed his eyes, concentrating on his hearing, he hears people nearby, breathing. "Who else is there? You might as well come out, I can hear you, breathing."

Sora opened his eyes as Kirishima, Denki, Uraraka, Tsuyu and Iida came out of the corner and waved nervously.

"I expected this from Mina, Kirishima and Denki but you three? Really?" Sora said as he looked at Uraraka, Tsuyu and Iida.

Mina got off the tree as Mina, Kirishima, Denki, Uraraka, Tsuyu and Iida were apologizing and bowing as Sora sighed and said it was fine as Midoriya reluctantly agreed, still embarrassed at what he was going to do earlier.

"All of you go home, We will talk about this at school, now go" Sora said as they apologized and walked back towards the station, except for Mina who Kirishima and Denki had to drag away since she wasn't listening and was trying to hide again.

After they had left Sora was still hugging Midoriya as Midoriya slowly let go to look up at Sora.

"That was.. something.." Sora said as he looked at Midoriya.

"Y- Yeah.. it was certainly.. something.." Midoriya said as he slowly started laughing as Sora started laughing too.

"What are we going to do with them.. I doubt Mina will let us go after we nearly kissed.." Sora said as Midoriya nodded.

"Yeah.. Well, It's getting late, I better get inside-"

Midoriya was about to let go but Sora pulled Midoriya back as Midoriya felt a pair of lips pressing against his, Midoriya closed his eyes as he returned the gesture as they stood there for a few seconds before they pulled away as Sora smiled and kissed Midoriya's forehead.

"Heh.. My Izuku, so adorable.. so easy to tease~ Say, we don't have school tomorrow, how about we go on a date again~ I'll pick you up around 2, Is that alright~?"

Midoriya started blushing more as he slightly pushed Sora away as he ran inside his house while saying. "S- Sure! See y- you tomorrow then!"

Sora smiled more as he walked away, walking back to the apartment as he texted his dad, Aizawa, saying he'll be home a little late, saying he'll be going to a bakery to pick up a cake for himself to celebrate an occasion that Sora won't be telling the exact reason, just telling him that it's for a successful day.
