Chapter 28 - Reveal and Teamwork

The music stopped playing as everyone started clapping and cheering at the concert Soar placed his hand down and looked at Jiro and Midoriya

"Hey there rockstars, You two were amazing! Where'd you learn how to rock like that?"

Soar asked as Jiro and Midoriya smiled as Jiro nudged Midoriya to answer.

"W- We learned f- from my boyfriend, H- He's really amazing and I think you'd really like him! His name is Sora Higurashi and he's this super cool guy who loves music, much more than anything! He's also really sweet and kind and generous, He's my best friend and the greatest guy I've ever met! And I really, really, really want to tell him how much I like him but I'm still nervous and he makes my heart flutter a lot.. he also teases me a lot.. I- I'm sorry I'm rambling.." Midoriya blushed as he just started rambling again but Jiro nudged him and he realized

"No, No, It's fine! Sora sounds like he's a really lucky guy to have you, sweet and cute, a dangerous combination"

Soar's mask showed off a smiley face but in reality, Behind the mask Sora was blushing red, never expected Midoriya to speak so highly of him.

"Alright then, before you two go stay for a sec I just have an announcement I need to tell" Jiro and Midoriya nodded as they took the guitars off as Soar turned around to face the audience.

"Alright everyone! That's all from me! Thanks to UA High for letting me play here, I'm Soar! Remember that name or.. you can call me by my real name because I'm a student here at UA High!" Soar said, suprising everyone as he continued, the cameras focused on Soar as he continued.

"Call me Soar or.. The Representative of the First Year Students, Hero Course Student and Representative of Class 1-A, Sora Higurashi!" Soar took his mask and hood off as he shook his head and messy hair then looked at the crowd, suprising everyone who was watching as a staff member gave Sora a mic as he spoke.

"Hope everyone liked my suprise! Because I'm going all out on this festival, in order to reach number 1!" Sora said as the pro heros clapped and cheered Sora's name as the student stared in shock

Sora turned around with a smile on his face as he sees Jiro and Midoriya in pure shock, Sora walked up to them and patted their heads and took them down stage as Midnight came on stage and announced

"There you have it everyone! Soar's Identity that everyone had been dying to know has finally been revealed! Now let's get onto the first event! The Obstacle Race!"

As Midnight explained, Sora took his mask and hoodie and pants off, still in his gym clothes since he just put them on top, the students tried hard to concentrate but they couldn't as they could only focus on the celebrity next to them, Sora but Sora was paying no attention to them and was trying to calm down his classmates especially Midoriya as he was panicking.

Midnight yelled at the students to pay attention and they did as she announced to get into position but Sora picked up Midoriya and carried him on his back since he was still malfunctioning, blushing red because he unknowingly complimented his boyfriend.

Sora tied Midoriya's hands together around and placed his arms around Sora's neck with the leftover capture tape, the race started as Sora said

"Upbeat" He yelled downward in an angle and propelled him forward, The students were shocked at how far Sora has gone but Sora didn't think so as he continued propelling them through the race as the students ran to at least get second place

Sora looked around and saw robots from the entrance exam and was able to easily avoid them as Midoriya woke up and realized that that they were in the race and his hands were tied and was about 100 above in the air as Bakugo and Todoroki followed them

Bakugo was chasing in the air and Todoroki on the ground, freezing it but Todoroki was stopped by the robots, Now it was just a fight between Sora and Midoriya vs Bakugo.

Midoriya had a plan as he untied his hands and hung upside down, being supported by Sora as he held onto Midoriya's legs tight, Midoriya quickly ties one end into a heavy ball and made make-shift flail as he threw the ball at Bakugo as he dodged

Midoriya expected this and immediately pulled it back as it returned and hit Bakugo in the head making him lose his concentration for a minute as he stopped and fell down but this gave Sora enough time to stop a bit and take a big breath in to continue propelling themselves in the air as Midoriya pulled himself back up as they hear Mic commenting their teamwork

"Wow! I wondered why Higurashi was carrying Midoriya for a while now but to think they'd team up to win together! While Higurashi would carry them through the race Midoriya would fend off anyone who'd try to get close! Do you have anything to say Shota??" Mic said as the camera turned to look at Aizawa who was covered in bandages, looking like a mummy as he spoke.

"Interesting teamwork and creative thinking from the problem child, making a make-shift flail from leftover capture tape from the Battle Trial to keep away opponents, giving Higurashi an opening to get a breath to continue propelling themselves in the air, avoiding the obstacles"

Having said that, It looks like Team Higurashi and Midoriya have reached The Fall trap and easily avoided that but what's this? Bakugo is behind them, looking angrier than usual, It's almost like I can hear him right next to us-" Mic said as the screen changes to show the chase between Sora and Bakugo.

"Deku!! Your going to pay for that!! And I'm going to kill you Voice Box!!"

Midoriya looks back and thinks 'Is Voice Box Sora's nickname from Kaachan-?' Midoriya hung upside down again and did the same trick but failed, He tried doing it again and failed again as Bakugo smirked.

"That won't fuckin' work twice!! I'm not a fuckin' idiot Deku!" Bakugo started to catch up as Midoriya pulled himself back up and started thinking of a new plan as He smiled and loosened the ball a lot as the hung upside down again and threw the ball at Bakugo, He was about to dodge but Midoriya smiled and pulled the end making the ball collapse and spread, turning into a net as it caught Bakugo and blinded him as he tried to get it off as Midoriya pulled himself back and wrapped his arms around Sora's neck

"Sora, Now!" Sora smiled and took another big breath in and said "Upbeat" As he yelled downwards in an angle as they sped up and arrived at the minefield as Sora and Midoriya saw the finish line as Mic said

"Wow! Another amazing move from Higurashi and Midoriya! They shot past The Fall and arrived at The Minefield!"

Sora continued and slowly landed infront of the finish line, He puts Midoriya down on his feet and walked in first, getting first place as Midoriya followed getting second place, The crowd cheered as they yelled out Sora and Midoriya's names.

"There you have it! In first place is Sora Higurashi! And in second place is Izuku Midoriya!!" Mic said as the crowd cheered

"That was amazing, Sora!" Midoriya looked around then at Sora with his hand on his neck, holding his throat.

"What's wrong? Does your throat hurt?" Midoriya walked up to Sora turned to look at Midoriya and smiled as he shook his head no but Midoriya didn't believe him

"I don't believe you, if that's true then talk" Midoriya said, pinching Sora's cheeks to make him talk as Sora sighed and spoke just as the cameras focused on the two and their interaction

"Fine, Fine, There, are you happy?" Sora said in a really deep voice that made Midoriya blush at the sudden change as he stuttered.

"H- Ho- How- I- H- Hot-" Midoriya started rambling again as Sora sat down on an invisible chair and placed Midoriya on his lap as he patted his head, trying to calm him down

"Oh wow- Higurashi, What happened to you voice? what the hell?! It's like a short wave radio?! Why does your voice feel like it's hitting places in my ear that shouldn't be hitting and how are you sitting in air?! " Mic said as he feels a shiver down his spine as a small camera arrived infront of Sora as he smiled.

"It's a side effect of my quirk, If I use it for too long, this happens and this is actually my morning voice too, like when I wake up my voice sounds like this for some reason, I don't really know why and I'm not sitting on air I'm using the muscles in my legs to keep me up and make it look like I'm sitting on air, it's quite easy actually," Sora said as the pros and students who heard had the same thought

'That is not easy!!'
