Everyone gathered at Roarke's home to welcome Ari, pure joy and relief could be seen on their faces as hugs and laughter permeated the air.
Ari didn't let go of her father even though she was safely home in the company of loved ones.
"How is Tessa?" Roarke looked at his mother who filled him in, "the doctor advised her to spend the night at the hospital to monitor her overnight. I'm sure she'll be discharged tomorrow" Grace patted her son's shoulder, "you did good son" complimenting him.
Roarke looked at everyone, seeing the pure worry and concern they had all felt about Ari's absence and the joy on their faces upon her arrival. His chest tightened, glad to have a family who would go to any length to protect him and what belongs to him.
Speaking of loved one, his eyes settled on Nessa who leaned on Tori's shoulder as she spoke with the others.
