Melanie's POV
"Hey Annie," a familiar voice said, and Melanie instantly knew who it was before she saw him. The voice that had been lingering in her mind and soul - Adryan Noir. "Adryan," Melanie called out to him as she slowly turned to look at his face. As always, he stood there, breathtakingly handsome. "How did you find me?" she asked.
"I'm a wolf, it's kinda what we're good at," Adryan replied with a smirk. "So you admit that you've been hiding?" he said, shackling her wrists with his hands.
"Adryan," she struggled to get words out as her heart slammed hard against her ribcage. "Why'd I need to hide from you? I'm not scared."
"Come with me after school," Adryan said, loosening his grip on her wrist. "I wanna show you something."
"I don't think I can," Melanie said, her mind drifting back to the nightmare she had.
Adryan noticed the change in her expression. "Melanie, what's got you worked up?"
"Nothing serious," Melanie responded. "Just a little nightmare."
Adryan peered into her pretty face and said, "Why don't you come with me after school? I'm not gonna shag you in the bushes if that's what you're scared of."
Melanie broke into a deep, throaty laugh. "Okay, Froggy, what do you wanna show me?"
"My awesome Ghostball moves," Adryan said. "Are you ready to get your ass whooped?"
"You wish, Noir," Melanie laughed again. Adryan watched her as she laughed. "You look amazing when you smile, Melanie."
"Yeah?" Melanie blushed and said, "I bet I'll look even more amazing when I beat your wolf ass at Ghostball."
Medusa's Hall
"Okay, class, today we'll be learning power manipulation spells. Open to page 98 of your manuals... magic disruption. Now, who can tell me what this spell is?" the teacher asked.
"It is a powerful spell used to temporarily suppress the magic of another witch or supernatural being, with variations lasting for as long as the caster continues to chant the spell," Melanie volunteered.
"Very good, Aiire... it's nice to see you contributing positively to the class," the teacher said.
"Woah, did you get bitten by a bug, Annie?" Melissa asked out of shock.
"No, I just need to focus on witchcraft... it's important," Melanie replied.
"Okay, class, the requirements for this spell are: Voodoo - bind the spell onto an object encompassed by lit candles, which ensures the spell cannot be broken so long as the integrity of the candle flames is maintained, Black magic, and more power than the opposing witch. Who can tell me how many incarnation stages there are in this spell?"
"Three, ma'am," a student replied.
"Good, good. We have (Arrêter majik sa à) x3 (En yitata Magica Sopitam) continuously and (Fluxus magia mortuus est) once. Now that we have established the spell, pair up and get to practice. Who's first?"
"Lissa, let's go first," Melanie hastily said.
"Annie, slow down, sheesh Melissa said casting the spell first and getting it on her third try, while Melanie got it after a lot of trials with much difficulty. "Urghh, at this rate, I'm useless," Melanie said.
"Come on, bestie," Melissa smacked her on the ass. "Don't beat yourself up. You're the best demon I know, and I'm sure you can be the best witch too if you practice witchcraft just as much as you practice demonology. You think?"
"Thanks, Lissa," Melanie said. "Can you come with me after school?"
"I gotta go somewhere," Melissa said nervously.
"Where?"
"I already agreed to go with Adryan."
"Ouuu Adryannnnn," Melissa giggled. "I'm going to a party with Skylar."
"Ouuu Skylar," Melanie mimicked. "Have fun, but be careful, Lissa. Call me."
"I gotta go," Melanie said, taking her leave.
Adryan's POV
"Adryan Noir," Melanie said cheerfully as she got closer to him.
"Annie... I thought you got scared and cancelled."
"Are you ready to go or you're scared?" Adryan asked.
"You don't scare me, Froggy," Melanie laughed and said. "I was tied up with something. Thanks for waiting."
"I wanna tie you up with something," Adryan said inwardly as his wolves howled for release. "Uhmm, sure, hop in," he said instead.
"Where are we playing?" Melanie asked.
"It's a surprise,"
