The fear on Daniel's face knew no bounds. He looked at Christian hoping it was a joke. Yeah, he hoped something was wrong. But Christian never joked about anything at all. The guys in the room made sure he was bound strongly to the chair. "I made one mistake Christian. Just one and you treat me like you never knew me. You can never have your loyal people with you. NEVER" He struggled with the people trying to bind him completely to the chair. Christian looked him in the eye "So you going to my enemy and trying to strike a deal with him on my life is forgivable?" Christian asked like Daniel was stupid and the man finally realized the depth of his sins.
It was not about the deal. it was about the person who decided to strike the deal. Daniel was one of his loyal people. The one who had been in the game with him for long and for him to do that, it was completely unacceptable. He was also using Daniel as an example to the rest of them.
The screams of Daniel filled the entire room as they peeled his face up from his jawline up to his forehead. Christian was not happy with doing this to Daniel. Daniel was not just one of his loyal men, he was one of the people who survived with him. They survived together, they came out of the loop of sufferings together. But, he could not let him go free cause of that because if they betray you once, they are most likely to do it again.
Daniel's skin was off his face and he was still screaming in pain after the whole skin removal process. Looking at him like that, Christian felt pained, but his expression remained stoic. He stood up from his seat and walked to the table with all the torturing tools. He took up the bottle of alcohol from the table and brought it to Daniel. He slowly began to pour it on Daniel's face and his screams got louder. "no hay deslealtad en mi negocio"(there's no disloyalty in my business) he said in Spanish as he poured the alcohol on his face. He poured the whole bottle of alcohol on his face and broke the bottle on his head and his hands dropped to the side.
Other people may think what he did was way too harsh for someone he claimed to have taken as his own, but that is exactly how he shows his pain. For someone else, he would never get involved in any of their torture or pain, but Daniel was one of his people. He wanted to inflict the same pain he was feeling on him.
Christian closed his eyes for a few seconds and opened them again "Hang him. Don't make it too tight. I want him to look at the gates of hell but still be alive" he said in his cold dark voice and left the room.
Christian. The leader of the most notorious trafficking house. He deals with every type of trafficking there is. Forced labor, sex trade, domestic servitude. You name it. It was never the life he wanted, neither was it what he hoped for. It was the game he got into to survive. All the struggles and hardships he went through made him who he was. And it always seemed to him like he could never leave this life.
Oh, he wanted to. He was desperate. But this was the only way he knew. It was the only way he saw life. He was way too toxic for the world. Christian.
