WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?

Christian wanted to go back to the dining but he had lost his appetite already and just decided to go out to the garden to receive the cool air of the night.

Angela was still with the ladies at the dining and they were already done eating. The tables were cleared, but they were still having a conversation with each other.

Angela had already learned from them the order of how they all came into the house. Bianca was with him from the beginning, then Mila came in first, then Charlotte, Daisy, Eleanor, Tilda, Elizabeth, Emily and Luna. But Tilda did not come down for dinner.

She learnt about their days in the house and they all had a long talk. The women did not know why, but they stopped feeling threatened by her presence and they became a little bit free with her. She saw that as an improvement from them.

"So, Angela, You've learnt a lot on our side, but you are still a mystery to us. How about you let us in on your past, hmm?' Eleanor asked and the rest nodded in agreement. Angela smiled and bent her head. She looked back up at them and said "That's going to be a whole story for another day because I've lived a life". They all decided to sign out for the night.

Angela was not feeling sleepy so she decided to continue the walk she stopped during the day. She walked out through one of the doors and ended up in the garden. She walked around and saw a silhouette of a man. She was not scared because she knew that there were many men in the house for it to be one of them. She wanted to walk away and ignore whoever it was but the Holy Spirit asked her "Why are you walking away?". She recognized His still voice and turned back to the man who was standing at the other side. She looked closely and realized it was Christian.

Angela moved closer to him and stood behind him. She just stood there with him for a long time before calling out to him "Christian". She saw that his body did not twitch even the slightest, meaning he knew she was there the whole time or things just did not faze him. He did not answer to her call but after a while, he said to her "Thank you". She did not understand why he was thanking her. "For what exactly" she asked.

"For not saying anything" He said in his usual cold voice. 'That means he knew I was here all along' She thought. "I just thought you needed your moment so, I decided to just be quiet. What were you thinking about?" She asked him and Christian replied "My thoughts are my thoughts Angela. Don't try to peak into it". Angela became quiet after he said that.

There was silence for a few moment before Christian broke it "Angela, you made me do two thing I would have never done in the same day" He said out of the blue "And what was that?" she asked. He sighed a little "You made me apologize and say 'thank you'. Same night" He said. Angela looked at the back of his head before moving to stand beside him "You had the right to refuse to listen to me, but you didn't. And you saying 'thank you' had nothing to do with me. You did that also of your free will" She said to him.

Christian became quiet for a while before saying "I would not have done that if it was anyone else, Angela. Not even for Bianca" Christian turned to her "What exactly are you trying to do to me?" He asked her. Angela stared at him straight in his eyes "Exactly what you have been looking for, Christian" she murmured.

They both stared at each other with different thoughts on their mind. Christian wondered what exactly brought this lady to him. He could not understand why he listened to her. No, why he even allowed her in his life in the first place. She was a mystery to him.

While Angela on the other hand wondered how exactly she would fix this man. God had given her yet another task, but this man was looking like he could take the crown for the most coldest man on earth. He could have a contest with Pluto. But she knew that if God brought her here, he had a plan for her.

Christian was the first to break eye contact and he turned back to the flowers he was facing. Angela also turned away from him and that was when she realized that most of the flowers in that part of the garden where they were was all back. Angela asked him "Why does it always have to be dark?" And he realized she was talking about the flowers. He looked at her before looking back to the flowers "That's the problem with the world. You see black and assume it's bad"

He touched the flowers "These are petunia black velvet flowers. Just because they are black does not mean they have a different way of growing. They also still need sunlight to grow. They just need lesser hours. That's all" He explained to her and she nodded her head. She also knew Christian was not just talking about the flowers.

They remained silent for a while before Christian broke the silence again "Daisy actually tried to poison me once". Angela's eyes went wide at this statement.
