YOUR KIND ADVICE

Angela woke up the next day. She knelt down beside her bed and prayed to God. She read her bible for a little while and prayed again before she stood up to take her bath. As she laid in the bath tub, what Christian said to her the previous day resounded in her head.

Angela turned to Christian "What do you mean by that?" She asked. Christian did not speak anymore, because he felt like he had spoken enough. But when he turned to look at her and saw the curiosity in her eyes, he decided to tell her.

"Don Alfod was the godfather of the organization. He was a big name in this business and everyone knew him, especially when it was child trafficking. That was always his main focus. In his sick way, he loved children.... and I was his favorite" Christian said and looked down.

Angela tried to absorb the whole information that was being thrown at her as she waited for Christian to continue. "I and Bianca were kidnapped on the same day and brought to a warehouse, then we were shipped here. When it came to the kids, Alfod liked being involved himself. He looked at Bianca and I and a few others and said to his boys to keep us in the house."

He debated with himself if he should tell his full story or just keep it short. He went with the latter "To cut this heartbreaking story short" He chuckled "We all went through series and series of pain and torture. If I told you about them, you would probably think I became a robot because of all I went through. It's like my body has been mechanized for pain only, so that's the only thing I know" he said to her.

"No, that's not who are Christian. It isn't" She said to him and they both stared in each other's eyes for a while.

Angela relaxed her head on the bathtub causing her body to go deeper into the water. She spoke to God once more "You know I cannot do anything without you. You have to guide me for me to even know what I'm doing" She spoke out.

She was done with her bath in fifteen minutes and came out of the bathroom. She went to the closet to look for workout clothes. She thought there should be a gym somewhere in the house cause of how big the house is, so she was going to find it or someone would lead her there. She might as well try to get in shape while she was here.

She wore her clothes and got out of her room. She walked to where the stairs were and asked herself if she should go down or up. She decided to go to the next floor, but she heard a voice call her "Angela, is it?".

She looked sideways and saw a woman coming to her. The woman was Tilda, but she had not met her yet. "I'm sorry, who are you?" Angela asked politely and Tilda smiled sweetly and stood in front of Angela. "My name is Tilda dear. Angela, right?" She asked again and Angela smiled and said "Yes. I have not seen you around, Tilda" she said to her. Tilda came close touching Angela's hair "That's because I've been battling with myself on a few things" She shifted her eyes from Angela's hair to her eyes before smiling and moving backwards letting go of the hair. Angela found that weird, but did not want to dwell on the matter.

"I have a question Angela. Please do well to answer me" Tilda said and Angela replied "Go on. I'll do well to answer as best as I can".Tilda began her question.

"Let's say you're married and you're currently pregnant for your husband, but your husband says he's not ready to bear the burden of having a child and tells you to abort it. But the next day, he comes back with another woman and wants you to live in joyous harmony with her. What will you do about the situation, dear Angela?" she asked.

Angela smiled "That's a tough one" she said "The thing is, there must be a reason why something happened like that. In that situation, I won't just cut off the tree, I'll find out the root, and that's where I uproot it. In some cases, it might not even be my spouse's fault" She said and smiled at Tilda.

"But I'm definitely not aborting my child for any reason. That is out of the question. I'm very sorry, Tilda. I'm looking for the gym in the house, so I'll have to leave you right now. I don't want to loose the little motivation I have to do this" She laughed and took the stairs leaving Tilda there.

Tilda smirked at Angela's retreating back "Thank you for the kind advice dear, I'll be sure to pay you by obeying your words" She said to herself as walked away.
