"Yes," Anna nodded, well aware that lying won't get her anywhere, "but I'm not like them, I beg you, I've never hurt anyone. Please, let me leave."
Silence hung between them as he weighed her words before he inched closer with an apathetic gaze. They all lie. They all cheat. She is surely no different.
The air grew heavy with tension as the ravine seemed to shrink with each unsteady step he took, his apathetic eyes reflecting his intentions.
He was so tired and irritated. She is just like any other human. Just another rabbit whose neck will soon be snapped in two. And he will be dead too. Even before her body can get cold, thanks to his heavily bleeding wounds.
High orc ~ aggressive
His description suddenly changed. With only a few steps between them, the man grabbed the bloody axe with a firm grip, determined to end it quickly so as not to make her suffer too much.
Once again she tried to sign out, but to no avail.
Terrified by the promise of pain, Anna dropped to the ground in a humble bow, resting her forehead on the floor as she tried to think of another option. Anything to buy time and log out.
"Allow me to heal your wounds first, so that at least one of us can survive this night," Anna breathed out after managing to come up with a weak plan, trying her best to appear as small and harmless as possible.
Attention:
You unlocked a special title as an addition to the healer class:

+ able to appear as "harmless" to hostile and aggressive NPC creatures, averting them from further offense.
- unable to deal notable damage to friendly, neutral, hostile or aggressive NPC creatures.
After an unbearable silence, he finally moved again.
She heard the sound of sand crunching and some buckles clanking as he put down his battle axe and sat down right in front of her, practically breathing on her neck, completely ignoring her personal space.
His hand slid down to her neck, gently nudging her to lift her head. The tenderness of his touch surprised her, leaving her motionless as his gaze swept over her stunned face.
"I accept your offer, woman," he said as he carefully pulled two thick arrowheads out of his chest, seemingly unfazed by the pain.
"I'd hurry if I were you," the boss taunted, "I won't last much longer."
Anna was clueless but determined to help him. Something that could stop the bleeding... She hastily emptied her pockets and pulled out some healing herbs she gathered earlier.
She had to crush them to make a paste. Mortar! No... There was no time to waste, he was bleeding like a colander. Her face cringed as she sank her teeth into the bitter herbs before spitting it into her palm and pressing it into his wounds.
Will it work? It had to, even if she was improvising a lot. All the healing herbs she picked were of a great rarity. With her saliva, which was used in place of animal fats or oils in order for the ointment to have a proper effect, the healing should begin in a short moment.
Finally, there it is. Anna was relieved to see his flesh slowly filling the holes in his skin, shivering and covering the wound until it formed into dark red scabs.
She was glad the blood finally stopped spilling from his veins. If only he weren't covered with blood, paint, and dirt, she would be tempted to touch him.
