Groom (11)

After walking for a bit, Kyoko suddenly stopped and turned to look at me.

Then without a word, she came forward and hugged me.

I was completely caught off guard by this, so I wasn't able to stop her. But even if I did want to stop her, I couldn't do that here since we were pretending to be an engaged couple right now.

But it was still awkward, so I couldn't help giving a cough and saying, "Shouldn't we go and meet with the elders?"

Kyoko had a disappointed look when she looked up at me, but she still let go in the end.

However, she wouldn't let go of my hand as we headed into the castle.

I was surprised by just how strong she was.

Even if I wanted to let go, I just wasn't able to with the iron vice of a grip that she had.

Just like this, the two of us entered the castle.

It was as confusing here as it was in the garden, but it seemed like Kyoko knew exactly where she was going as she led me in.
