Surrounded By Main Characters, I Was the Real Main Character All Along

Seeing that neither of her parents said a thing, Veronica turned to look at me.

Her expression quickly filled with a look of worry and she came over to take a closer look at me.

As she went around me to make sure that I was alright, she asked, "Did they do anything strange to you?"

I shook my head and said, "No, no, we just had a little talk. There was nothing that happened."

Veronica looked at me with a look of doubt before turning to look at her parents again.

But I figured that I should help them, so I said, "Well, now I know what some things mean for vampires. Such as sucking a human's blood."

When I said this to her face, Veronica's face couldn't help turning red.

She opened and closed her mouth a few times as if she wanted to explain herself, but then she just turned to glare at her parents. It was as if she was blaming them for the situation that she was now in.

But this time, they didn't back down.
