When the door opened, I realized why that voice seemed familiar.

That was because the face that came out from behind the door was a very familiar face.

Well, it wasn't familiar at first since it was too messy for me to recognize it.

However, I quickly realized who this was when I looked at that face carefully.

That person who opened the door looked at Yan Ling and said, "Oh, it's you. What are you doing here?"

Yan Ling calmly said, "There's been some news from the mainland, we need to talk."

The person gave a nod at first, but then that nod slowly stopped as she saw me standing behind Yan Ling.
